Here are the answers to last week's game:

1. I have worn glasses since I was six years old. False. I think I was eight. Maybe seven.
2. I got a huge stuffed teddy bear on my fourth birthday. True! I still have him. I think when I got him he was about as big as I was!
3. I wrote my first book when I was eight years old. True! I had written stories before that, but this was my first "chapter book". I haven't stopped since!

Now you are probably expecting for me to post another round of questions, but I'm going to close this game down for now. It's not because I don't have any more ideas -- actually I have several more games already written. But I feel like this "Two Truths and a Lie" thing is keeping me from posting stuff more worthwhile. I feel pressured about getting the next game up here each week and I haven't really been giving a whole lot of thought to other entries.  I hope you all had fun with it -- maybe someday I will do it again, but for now this is the end of the game. Okay, I think I have made these too easy so far. Well, at least last week. Can you believe it? -- Last week NO ONE chose the wrong answer. Thanks for playing, everyone!Last week the choices were:

1. I have touched a live snake. True! Mom took us girls to a talk about the kinds of snakes in Kansas, and at the end there was a man holding a snake. The people in the audience got a chance to go touch it.
2. Right now I am in the middle of crocheting an afghan. True! One of the first things I posted within the first week or so of blogging was a little bit about it. Dig through my archives and check it out!
3. I would like to have a baking business when I get older. False. I really need to learn to like cooking/baking more. Actually I need to learn more of how to do it...

And now, for whoever wants to "play again," here are this week's "facts." Remember, two are true and the other is false. Leave a comment telling which one you think to be false.

I am having fun with these -- I hope you are, too. Last week I said:

1. I used to have a pet gerbil. That is false. Good guess, Meg and Bluejane!
2. This is not my first blog. True! Before I started this blog I had started another one here on HSB. But I didn't know what to write, didn't know if anyone was reading it, etc. It was discouraging and I decided to quit. But I signed up again for this blog, and this one is much more fun for me.
3. I like photographing clouds. True! Maybe someday I will post some of the pictures I have taken.

And now, for this week's game:

Okay, okay, last week's game was WAY, way too easy. Only one person was wrong! So if you guessed that I have not been an extra in a movie, you were right! I have been on TV -- not like I was being featured, but my sisters, friends, friends' mom, my mom, and I happened to be somewhere that was being featured in the local news. The funny thing is that our family doesn't even own a TV! And I was in the newspaper once because I entered a cross-stitch sampler in an old-time-fair kind of thing and won Reserve Champion! So I got my picture in the paper.

Well, enough said; here are the statements for this week. Once you think you've figured it out, comment on this post and say which one you think is not true.

Wow! I sure got a lot of participants on my last "Two Truths and a Lie"! However, only two people got it right! Can you believe that? One of them was ALadyBug, and the other was my sister BookLover (but I'm not sure if she should count because she already KNEW the answer)! :o) First I'll give you the answers from last week, then the questions for this week.

Last week I said:

1. I don't have a favorite animal. True! Well, at least I thought so when I wrote the entry. Then I felt like Bluejane was trying to convince me that I DID have one, and then cherryblossom jumped on that, too! Oh, well, but here's how I look at it: how can you chose a favorite when there are SO MANY animals and a lot of them are so different from each other?? For example, how can you have a favorite between a snake and a dog? Or a whale and a starfish? So, yes, I do like bottlenose dolphins, I will confess, but I'm not really "into" animals right now. I hope that makes sense...

2. My favorite outdoor activity is swimming/diving. True! I am a fish. :o) I love the water.

3. My favorite subject in school is spelling and vocabulary. False. Sorry, but that's probably one of my least favorites! I'm surprised more people didn't guess that... after all, what do I post about every Saturday???

And now, for this week's round:

1. I've been in the newspaper.
2. I've been on TV.
3. I've been an extra in a movie.

Thanks to sagerats, BookwormMN, and ALadyBug, I've decided to do a "Two Truths and a Lie" game. The way it works is I give you three statements (one which is false) about me or my family, and you have to guess which is wrong and let me know your guess in a comment. Got it? Okay, here you go.

1. I don't have a favorite animal.
2. My favorite outdoor activity is swimming/diving.
3. My favorite subject in school is spelling and vocabulary.

Next week I'll let you know which one is false. My family members may participate, but don't be persuaded that what they pick is the right answer.
