Wonder Woman goes on IR.
Okay, just for the record - I am not, I repeat NOT, Wonder Woman. If y'all could only come hang out here with me for a day or two, you'd go "ooohhhh, yeah, she really is kinda freaky!"
I got stuck on Injured Reserve last week. I went to see Dr. Fun Oral Surgeon on Friday for an extraction. As an added bonus, I had a little bone shaving done. Oy. Thankfully I was semi-sedated and didn't give a rats rear-end as to what he was doing - or shaving. By Saturday the couch had a permanent full-body impression of me. Sunday was better - we ran errands most of the day. Monday was okay - in the morning. By the afternoon I had the migraine from hell and went back to the couch. By 1am I thought if pain could kill you, I'd be dead. Holy hell. By Tuesday I just thought I'd be on the couch forever with an ice-pack attached to the back of my neck. Thankfully today I am not one with the couch. I am (mostly) human again.
Thankfully I am married to Superman. Seriously. Don't let him tell you otherwise. He took care of me, the kids, the house, and everything else. Well, the house did end up with a new decorating theme called "tornadic chic" but who cares! The kids were bathed, fed, and no injuries occured. Victory!
I am off of Injured Reserve and back in the game. On Friday I'll have my lovely stitches removed, too. Gee, how exciting!
