I had a nice playdate last week and some more coming up. These were long overdue. But my closest mom friends live 1 hour and 2 hours away! Wish that were not so. It does make our times shared all the more special though.

I made a chart for DS to review K  material and get us ready for 1st grade! The categories are Phonics, library books, writing and Awana verse review. Every 20 checkmarks he earns he gets a prize. This will be DD's "preschool" year so I will be pondering what we do with her while DS starts 1st.

I have been having Fall and Christmas feelings and am ready for Summer to pass. Can you tell which season is my favorite?

Last random thought. I have been reading Fit for Eternity by Dr. Diedre Little. Very good. She touches on the long run health changes needed and also the deeper spiritual issues that need to be dealt with that cause a person to be unhealthy. More later...........
