Aug. 7, 2009 - Happiness
I have just driven home in my sweet little car which is finally home from the mechanic, watching the sun rise over the misty hills all pink and blue and gold. Now I'm snuggled up with a hotwater bottle in my lap and a plate of hot banana toast and cinnamon buns all dripping with butter in front of me, sipping a huge cup of steaming milky coffee....
I'm just so happy right now. The early mornings are so worth it for this. |

*sigh* I feel happy just reading about it.
Oh, and DT, I'm awfully proud of you for writing such a short post--who'd have known you had it in you? *grin* |

*comes running with arms outstretched* Darling! I am now an official infrequent blogger! Sorry, I just had to say that...but yes...musings of a crazy cyber chick...hmmm...*is thoughtful* It matches you.
I am now a teenager! Yes, a scary, crazy, annoying teen writer, too! *roars like a lion* And still frightfully immature sometimes...and frightfully mature sometimes...yes, I'll stop bragging. Told you I was annoying!
I loveth your new template! Very bright and cyber-chickish. I like the version of the the picture you used to have on here.
A working girl! My, but I'm proud of you! Sorry, I'm already over my limit of blog time, so I didn't have time to read the whole post...just enough to get the jist of it. Congrats!
Well, I must fly. And try to rescue my languishing writing career. *roars off in a shiny, black, virtual, convertible Mercedes*

**sighs** how utterly and completely awesome. :)
I am so jealous of your car... I still have a bit of saving to do... :-/
In the meantime, I thoroughly enjoy reading of other people's car-owning experiences, annnd... ending up feeling quite jealous. :P Ah well.. won't be long until I can have a car of my very own!! *dies from the the sheer epicness of the meer thought of being able to travel... in my own car* ... *revives long enough to finish comment*
Anyways, I jus' wanted to post, and say "Hi!" again, in the hopes that my ashamadely hostile seeming comments on my discussions didn't permanently frighten you away from my blog! :-(
I also (on that note) wanted to thank you for the comment on my Nemo post, you're so very encouraging. :-D Oh, and we so totally and completely agree on Veggietales. :)
Oh, and I posted another poem, that you may, or may not enjoy... i don't know, it was fun writing, you might could check it out... if you wanted to. ;)
And maybe... if you like it enough maybe, just maybe... i might earn the distinct honor and privelege of *gulps* making it onto your blogroll...? *crosses fingers* ;)
Oh, and I think that it's completely and totally perfectly awesome that you are working like that... and enjoying it too!! how exciting!!! :D
Anyways, there's my comment! :D not too long is it?? :-/ |

My dear Gabrielle, I must beg your forgiveness. Why? Because several months have flown by since I received your letter, and not a word in response has been sent back in return. And I promised, too!
-looks anxious-
Worse still, I'm not sure if I even remember where your letter is. It might be in the basket I keep on the chest at the foot of my bed for that sort of thing, but I've had so much mail lately that things have been stacking up, and...well...I'm not sure.
-wrings hands-
Will you ever take it upon yourself to forgive me, miserable creature that I am? In return, I will write you a Letter of Letters, such as the world has never seen! (Or close to it, anyway.) It's been horrible of me to make you wait like this---assuming you even remember the letter by now---and I'm eager to make it up to you.
At this point in the comment, I would digress and put in a word on your previous posts, none of which I have acknowledged. (Sorry about that, too.)
But I'll save all thoughts of that nature for the Letter.
Yours,
Tinuviel
P.S. Sorry for the drama. That's what comes of living and breathing David Copperfield for the last five days. |

The Lady
Gabrielle is brilliant, beautiful, talented, sweet and good, yet marvellously humble. Haha... No. Let's try that again...
Gabrielle has a wicked sense of humour and far too much pride for her own good. She loves to write, and has spent a good portion of her life buried in books. She loves old English literature, anything Tolkien, and well-written humour.
She loves blogging, fanfiction, and spends a good portion of her day on her computer. Pretty active, she enjoys climbing, swimming, running, and sitting up trees, yet does not enjoy most ball sports.
At sixteen, she is still far more immature than she should be and enjoys the fact far too much, yet she can be serious at times and ponders deeply on many issues. She takes her faith very seriously, and strives to make becoming like her Lord her greatest wish.
She enjoys talking about herself in the third person.
Dol Amroth
Dol Amroth was a coastal city in South Gondor. Built on a hilltop overlooking the Bay of Belfalas and crowned by Tirith Aear - the seaward tower - it was the Jewel of the Southern coasts. The Princes of Dol Amroth were prominent in Gondor and ruled much of the land about Belfalas.

Dol Amroth was the home of both sailors and mounted knights, yet they were also renowned for their harpists. The people of Dol Amroth were of Numenorian decent, and also accounted to have had elvish blood - passed down from Mithrellas, one of Nimrodel of Lothlorien's handmaidens. They were tall, dark haired and grey eyed, and spoke, for the most part, Sindarin.

Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth fought in the battle of the Pelennor Fields with many of his knights, and won renown for his deeds there, which included saving the life of his nephew, Faramir. Imrahil's sister, Finduilas, was the wife of Denethor, Steward of Gondor, and the mother of Boromir and Faramir. Imrahil's daughter, Lothiriel, later married King Eomer of Rohan.
