I did not intend for a poem to be my second post.  Poetry is not my specialty.  However, The Young Writers Lounge's first assignment is to write a poem about your favorite season.  Here is mine:

                      Winter

                    Cold, icy,

           Sledding, skiing, snowball fights,

           Snowy, crunchy, slippery, sparkly,

                      Winter
