I can't believe I'm going to tell you all this, but Oh my, I've got to tell someone... so why not tell the WHOLE world?! Tonight we came home from celebrating the Elliots' 60th wedding anniversary... and you ask me why I am blogging about cockroaches when I could be blogging about years of wedded bliss... I too wonder at times where my sanity has gone, however... I say, we had just gotten home when I saw two black shadows flit about from under the refrigerator as I went to stow the water bottles for the night... The first word that came to mind was, INVASION! We had killed 2 nasties in the last couple days, but this, I never thought it would come to this. Tonight I killed four of these sickos under my fridge! Oh the misery, and the embarrassment that I was harboring these despicable creatures in my KITCHEN! No more. I tell you what our house smells like the insecticide factory. My Beloved told the children not to fear because the fumes emanating from our kitchen alone smell so strong (I am thorough) there isn't a cockroach within a ten mile radius who isn't fleeing the city with all his children, running for their lives away from our house! heheh.
So here they are the nasty culprits - the terrible, horrible, ugly, disgusting, yucky, yucky, YUCKY things:
La cucaracha = Cockroach
(These puppies were a good 2" each except for that smaller one in the middle was only about 1.5")

I like your calling of the cockroaches as "sickos" :) By the way, very creative idea about the alphabet series of blog entries. I've been wanting to implement a feature on my own site that allows for "series" of posts that are connected by links... this is a very cool idea for such a series.
