H is for Happy Birthday!

Pretty Pink Princess turned 6 this last weekend!  Where has the time gone?  She is learning so much, and is really growing up!

We had some of our adopted family over for lunch on Sunday, the big day.  Bria asked to invite the Elliots and the Twinem family - both missionary families - our adopted family.  The kids went swimming, we ordered pizza and then ate Bria's birthday cake choice... Tiramisu, with way too much rum flavoring.


I think she had a great time!


For her birthday present, she finally got the Happy Family dollhouse stuff that I've been slowly collecting over the last several years (thanks Oma and Hammy for your contributions!).
I think we waited until the perfect time, she has spent a LOT of time organizing and reorganizing the things over the last couple of days.  I'm enjoying playing with her too! 

It has been kinda hard for her these last several months as her only really good friend went back to the States with her parents on furlough for a year.  She's always been a pretty tough cookie, had to be, being born after two boys 4 years older than her!  But this toy seems like a real blessing from the Lord at just the right time.  Hopefully, it will help her occupy her time a little and provide something enjoyable that she can play by herself.
