On this blog, this little girl se llama (is called) PrettyPinkPrincess, and in this picture she is llamando a sus abuelos (calling her grandparents). We spend a good amount of time when we have it, on the phone attempting to maintain good relationships with loved ones from afar.
Just look at those ojos bonitos que se llaman la atencion (pretty eyes that call attention). Here because the highly dominant color of eyes is brown or browner, our light colored eyes attract a lot of attention. We're often called 'cat eyes' or hear exclamations like 'what beautiful eyes' as we walk down the street, or anywhere for that matter :)
And yes, in Spanish LL is a letter! :) It sounds like y in yak or si in division or the sound of the L and Y if you run the two words together... pull yah = LLLLyuh. It all depends on where you live and how you learned to talk!!
