Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - The Amazing Cure-all

In my last post, I posted a picture of an enormous rock that we encountered on our way to the lake a couple of weeks ago.  Well, speaking of rocks, it got me thinking about kidney stones (don't ask how), which reminded me that I have found the cure... for EVERYTHING.

Apple Cider Vinegar.

I'm telling you, it's good for eczema, arthritis, kidney cleansing, losing weight, acne, hayfever, cramps, food poisoning... seriously, you name it.  Well, I decided that I'd like to lose weight, as well as some acne and eczema, so I took the plunge.  I drank the horrid stuff.  Of course if I'd taken the normal dosage I'd have been fine.  Instead of 3-5 teaspoons I added 4 TABLESPOONS, and instead of diluting it in a whole cup of water, I only used 1/2 cup thinking I would rather have to drink less... hahahah.  I am a silly girl.  It was terrible.  It was better than the first time when I tried to drink it straight... that, I will never forget. ever.

However, today I reread the dosage on the back of the bottle (hey, it's in Spanish, okay?!), even double checked on the internet, and corrected myself.

Oh yes.  2 tsps to one cup of very cold water is a VERY different story.  :)

So, now that I've figured out how to take it for you, wanna try it?

It's not so bad... really. :)

If it will help me lose 10 lbs without having to work out, then I will join you! It does smell foul though... too many weeks of smelling it in our church nursery when they were trying to be "all-natural" in their cleaning. Personally, when it comes to poopy diapers and such I much prefer Lysol!
