Kids Nativity Set by one2believeOne2believe Tales of Glory Nativity Set I’d like to tell you all about a really neat “toy”. It’s a nativity set from one2believe. This set is especially made for your children to play with!
I have 2 nativity sets that I put out at for Christmas, but both of them are not to be touched because they’re porcelain. After they are set up, they stay in one place until after Christmas. With the one2believe nativity set, as soon as the box arrived, the kids opened it up and started playing. Unlike many toy sets with pieces that are tied tightly only to be freed with scissors, these pieces were easy to remove from the box. The kids weren’t frustrated at all, which is a big plus in my book. They immediately set it up and had fun. The pieces are “cute” per my 12 year old daughter, especially baby Jesus. The face is recognizable, which often doesn’t happen with small toys. My kids set it up with their Lincoln Log town and created a whole production based on the Christmas Story. The set includes 17 pieces: Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and a manger, 2 Angels, 3 Kings, 2 Shepherds, 1 male camel, 1 male sheep, 1 female sheep, 1 donkey, 1 bale of hay, a palm tree, and the stable. This set also includes a mini-storybook of the Birth of Christ. It is reasonably priced on their website at $24.99.
The Tales of Glory Nativity Set is one of the many toys that one2believe has designed and sells. Specifically, the Tales of Glory play sets were created by one2believe “to teach children Bible stories and Scripture in a fun and entertaining way.” The nativity set and book certainly does. My first impression of this set was “Wow, it’s big”. I was surprised by the size of the box when it came and then the set itself was a good size, too. The one thing that impressed me the most, though, was the soft cover storybook that tells of The Birth of Christ. Most nativity sets that I have seen sold come only with the box and wrapping. There is no story, not even a whim of a story. Also included with this set is a guide called “Spiritual Stepping Stones”. This guide helps parents to understand the importance of developing a child’s spiritual life. It explains, by age level, the “stepping stones” to take to guide your child to The Lord Jesus Christ. I believe this is the most important aspect about this company and their products. A portion of their vision states: “one2believe's passion is to help children learn important Bible lessons and to have them come to faith in Jesus. Our goal is to provide fun ways of teaching children about the greatest people who ever lived. Through the toys that we design children will learn and play out exciting stories about real people. Our toys teach children that there are real superheroes they can believe in!” As a Christian mother, I have found it is hard to find toys that even infer a Christian perspective, but one2believe has devoted their company to this. I recommend this product and this company. For more information on one2believe, you can contact them at: one2believe An important note: the box does state that the set is not for children under 3. Though the pieces are big enough for little hands to hold and play with, baby Jesus and a removable star are small enough to swallow. From their website: “All Tales of Glory toys have been tested by an independent third party testing facility and comply with ASTM standards. All toys are free from harmful chemicals and are safe.” The other toy lines they have are:
