Going well so far

Hello all. I'm enjoying reading all the blogs from everyone. It's nice to see so many of you with similar thoughts and situations as myself. I'm happy to report that so far this year (all of 3 days), school has been going well. My sons reading is improving everyday, which I am extremely grateful for. We did have a slight melt down from my daughter on the first day. Apparently parenthetical citation was just a little too much for her at that time . We made it through it, though. I'm looking forward to this year and know that The Lord is guiding me and that He has a path that I can make it on. Take care to all and have a good night. ~Lisa

Hello

This morning I am trying to figure out this blogging thing. I've been reading up on it, but am still confused. It's funny because I have always thought of myself as quite fluent on the computer. I have been humbled, I must say. I will keep learning and am confident I will be able to do this.

The kids and I will be venturing out for part of the day. Trying to enjoy the last few days left before school starts. Here in NY we start school after Labor Day since the summer weather doesn't truly start until almost July. The Lord has blessed CNY with 4 seasons - winter, of course, is the longest here. All are beautiful but I do find myself at the end of summer wishing for a few moments of summer and few less of winter. 

Amazingly, I am ready for school to start this year, almost. This is the first year that I can remember. I'm excited.
