I wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful ladies who gave me the great advice on the sleep problems I was having with my 19 month old. I am very happy to report that she is sleeping through the night !!!!!
I was very surprised at how easy it actually was. Whenever she woke up she would stand up and say "Mama", then I would get up and lay her down and tell her go ni-night. And she would go back to sleep!!! The first night she woke maybe about 4 times, the next night 3 and so on. Now she doesn't wake at all.
I put her to bed at 8:30 and she usually wakes up around 7 or 7:30. (today she woke up at 6:00 due to the time change). It is such a wonderful blessing to have her finally sleeping through the night. I still wake up several times a night out of habit, I think it will take me awhile to get used to the fact that I don't have to wake up
It is such as wonderfully nice day today!!! It is 68 degrees right now, woohooo!!! The kids and I took advantage of the nice weather and took a loooong walk. Then we did school and ate lunch. My 19 month old is napping right now. I decided to let the kids have a little fun in the warm weather before it gets too cold again, so we broke away from the schedule and my dd7 and ds5 are outside playing right now.
Here is my list of some things I still need to get done today:
-Clean the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms
-Wash a load of dishes
-Wash a couple loads of laundry
-Fold and put away two loads of laundry
-Put together my co-op order
Well I best be off to get started on my list, I don't have much time because I have to take my daughter to dance class at 4:00. |
