Duct tape bags!! 8/14/07
One of my friends from my Christian moms' email lists is very crafty and gave me the idea of using duct tape to make various things. I'm not crafty at all, so we just decided to do one craft--beach bags! The link for the instructions is here: http://www.makingfriends.com/summer/tape_beach_bag.htm
The first person to make a beach bag was A. She used different colored tape to make 2 very distinct sides:
Next came L., with hers, also with 2 very distinct sides:
 
And finally, K. wanted hers to be all purple:
The girls have been using their bags for their swim lessons and for going to the pool. They fit exactly one towel, one pair of goggles, and maybe one shirt.  The less I have to carry, the better.
Oh--I don't post pics of FQ much, since he doesn't homeschool, but just for fun:
Okay! We're not homeschooling this week, because we're traveling soon!!! We'll be journaling about our trip though!! More to come.
