Some Gave All

I never thought my husband would go to war.  He was supposed to be in a nice safe desk job when we got the call saying he was going to Afghanistan in 9 days.  Until you've lived through it, you don't understand the depth of fear you have when the phone rings at odd times of the night, or when you don't hear from your husband when you expect to.  Thankfully, my husband came home from Afghanistan.

Allen J. Knop, 22, didn't return home from Iraq.  He enlisted in the Army after 9-11 when he was still a senior in high school.  During his first tour in Iraq he gave up a leave pass so that another soldier with a family of his own could go on leave to see wife and children.

Remember Army Specialist Allen J. Knop.  Killed in Iraq 11/23/2005.
