hey guys!
man its been a long time... i am so addicted to facebook! so there's been a ton happening in my life. um i got my braces off! whooo! its pretty awesome.
i had a couple try-outs for rep soccer teams... and i didn't make either teams. :( :(. pretty upsetting... but i guess God didn't want me playing rep this year. and i have a whole year to get better.
God's amazing isn't He? his past week i've really been getting to know Him better and grow in my faith... it's so awesome. a book series i was reading really got me "back on track" with God. so girls, any of you looking for a good book series... check out the christy miller collection. they are so great!
right now i am soo wrestless (sp?) in canada... i want to travel so badly! i want to go to europe! i have this real passion for romania and the orphans... we'll see what God plans for me... i hope its traveling, but who know what the future holds. anyway, i gotta book... sorry this is so short. i'll post as soon as i can.. really i will lol. hope you all are awesome!
oh ya, what d'u guys think about my pic? should i keep it? be honest, someone told me i looked grumpy :p so if you think it looks like i'm angry or something, i'll change it...

so... life hasn't been too eventful. sadly, school has started. lol. its not bad. i'm actually really enjoying some subjects (minus math :p).
so my soccer season is officially over. my "real" team win champions of the league!! which was super exciting. then we played in a tournament yesterday and totally fell apart... ya... um i'd reather not talk about it... lol.
but ya, overall the season was pretty good. i can't believe it's over. i have rep try-outs in a couple weeks that i am super nervous for! prayer would be greatly appraciated! i really have my heart set in this i don't know what i'll do if i don't make it... so ya, i really love soccer in case any of you didn't know :p
so life's been pretty good. kinda boring now that school's started. i'm goin to be coaching indoor again this year... and (hopefully) i will be practicing with the rep team all winter if i make it.
i worked at teen ranch for two weeks over the summer. was a totaly blast! it was so great... i really grew closer to God. one friend of mine wasn't a Christian, but she really thought she wanted to be. so she and i had some long talks a couple times. she's big into parties... and ya, all that comes with it. so she was realizing that she didn't need alchohol, but her friends were having a big influence on her decision. while i was there, she didn't end up accepting Christ, but she is well on her way. she told me the other day it's not as hard as she thought it would be... she was telling her (very non-Christian) friends about it. so i am very excited about this... although i don't get to see her much so i'm not sure where she is in her life all the time. if any of you would pray for my friend, that would be so awesome. i'm really excited for what God has in store for her life... not to mention mine. I have absolutely no idea where He's leading me. although i'm soo excited. life is good. so ya, there's my big boring blog for u guys... hope yur all well!

so guys, i'm here posting, as i promised. are you surprised? lol. since i got facebook i'm on that all the time... like really, ALL the time.
so anyways, i'm off in newfoundland for a couple weeks... and am missing soccer games :( i'm soo upset. but its happens. well speaking of soccer, we have had a total of 2 losses this season.... we only had one but since i've been away my team lost a game :(. oh well... so that is for my "official" team. for the other teams i'm on, the U16 girls, i think we've lost like 4 games or something... i havn't played all of their games. and than for the guys team i'm on, i've only played one game... which we won. they have lost one game all season. thay r an amazing team. they're sweet to play with. as weird as this sounds, the guys are way less aggressive than girls :p. lol if u can believe me. so ya, i've been loving it. i've only got 1 goal this year tho... havn't been taking too many shots... but i'm had like 10 assists, lol. reffing's been okay. i'm thinking i won't do it next year though... i really wanna focus more on my game. and i'm planning on playing rep next year. i'm making alot of money from it which is sweeet.
so i watched the U20 FIFA world cup game today. which argentina won... in case some of u didn't know. i was personally going for the czech's. but i honestly didn't care. i'm weird that way lol. i'll lean towards one team, but not care if the other team wins.
so... i could go on and on about soccer, but i'll try to stop soon and try not to bore you. but when i get home i'm assistant coaching at a soccer camp... it's so cool. it's called AIA (athletes in action). it's run by 4 coaches that go around to towns and do a 5-day camp for kids. its soo fun. i've been doing it for the last four years, but now i'm too old :( so i'm assistant coaching. and i'm soo excited! it should be loads of fun. and it's a Christian camp. so its great seeing kids come to Christ. i'm soo excited! if u guys hadn't figured that out yet.
so ya, i'm getting so hard-core into soccer... getting in way better shape. i'm hoping to make soccer my career... so if you guys see me on tv, you can say you knew me lol... sorta. if you can call talking to eachother on blogs knowing eachother. which i do, but i'm not sure what u guys think.
man i've seen so many amazing places since i've been on my trip. i went to quebec city... and all around it was soo cool. minus all the french lol. i hate french. and i wen to nova scotia, new brunswick, and here, newfoundland. i've seen amazing landscape... wow i can't even expain it. i'll have to post pics once i put them on my computer.
well hey i hope you guys enjoyed my long-awaited post. i will try to post more often. i can't that much while i'm here but i will when i get back for sure. see you guys and hope yur all well!!

So here's a nice short post for you guys... well for those of you who actually read my posts lol.
Soccer's been sweet. Playing like every night of the week but saturday. It's sooo awesome! I reffed a game tonight. Was pretty good... definately not my favourite thing to do but it's all good.
I am soo excited for school to be over! Are any of you done yet? I'm done most of my subject's but Writeshop.. and it should be done soon. I'm soo excited for summer! It's gonna be amazing!
Anyhow, I gotta run... my sis's birthday today and we're having her birthday supper right now (and it's 20 to 10 lol - we all had soccer - just a little late, eh?) lol. See ya!

AH! So guys, i was tossing the football around with my brother and dad, and i went to catch it, and caught it weird. It jammed my finger and it swelled up. Today it's all purple and swollen. ah, it kills! So i'm typing really odd... its my ring finger... i think i use it prolly the most. Oh well, hopefully will heal soon.
I had a soccer game tonight (which i played with my busted finger). It was a great game! besides tha fact that it was FREEZING! its soo weird! We had like a heat wave last week, and now this week it's freakin cold! But anyway, we lost our game (6-4) but it was still a great game. We had some amzing plays. Probably my best so far. So in the first half, we get 1 goal. within thenext half our or so, they get 4! Ah it was disaster! But then in the second half we got 3 and tied it up. Then they got 2 more! So ya.. it was an interesting game lol. but tons of fun.
So me and my family were at a wedding in Virginia a couple weekends ago... so here are some pics (and i actually remebered). Now you guys should definately thank me... this is the only time you will ever see me in a dress! lol (f.y.i. i hate dresses and skirts lol)

hey guys!
ok, the real reason i'm never on here anymore, is 'cus i got facebook (a.k.a. "land of wasting time") lol. but anyway... a ton has happened since i last blogged... i'll let u know what i remember :p
so our famly as in virginia for a wedding... was awesome! i would post pics but am about to get kicked off so it'll have to wait.
soccer's going awesome! for one team, we tied our first game (2-2) and won our second game (4-0). and for my other team... well let's just say we haven't quite meshed together yet. we won our first game 3-2, and lost our second 4-0. i've got a couple injuries though so i'm not playing too great. but i'm workin on it. and i'm reffing... which isn't too bad. i don't love it, but hey, i get paid lol.
um hmmm... can't remember much else. my brother's playing football and has gotten creamed every game (47-0, 35-0, 49-8... i think). so ya... he's kinda down about it. but the guy's he play are like double his size. and my brother's pretty big... ya these guys are massive.
i saw Pirates of the Carribean: At world's end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was sooo amazing! ah i love it! for those of u who haven't seen it. u soo have to!

So hey guys... ya. If anyone's wondering (or if anyone cares) I haven't been around 'cus I got Facebook. Yes, I finally gave in. AHH! lol
So, soccer has officially started!! WHOO! I'm playing on two teams this year... I'm sooo pshyched!! One team is gold (or yellow, whatever u wanna call it), and the other is kelly green. This years the socks, shorts, AND jerseys are all the same colour... so everyone on the gold team calls us bananas, and the green team (love it) we're leprichauns... whooeee. lol. So ya, it's a ton of fun!
So guess what? Sadly, I was at my last quiz meet of the year this past weekend :(. But it was SO amazing!! Well I gotta run but here are a ton of pics of my totally awesome weekend! Catch ya'll later!

Sorry guys, I gotta run. so here's a really short post :p.
So... I am now officially a soccer referee!!!! I finished my course today... 9:00-3:00... finishing off from yesterday. I am right now icing my ankle. lol. We were practicing reffing so the rest of the "refs (or refs-to-be), were playing games from like 12:30-3:00 ( we weren't wearing any equiptment... most importantly, shin-guards). Me and another guys were swiping for a ball (sad to say he got away with it!) and smoked shins as we were fighting for it... i've done it before but never this bad. So... moral of the story. Next time you play socce, wear shin pads. lol.
Well I gotta run... oh ya. My grandma had an 80th birthday party (she lives in Calgary along with a ton more of my extended family) and all my relatives came down. We all stayed at this AMAZING hotel!! I'll post pics next time I remember! lol.

Hey everyone!!
i'm back... well for the time being... you never know with me :p lol
Thanks to all who left the compliments about my new avatar... i like it to!
well i had an ok birthday... turns out i was sick. Than my mom got really sick and was in bed all day. So we didn't really do anything. Oh wait, we watched, The Pursuit of Happyness. I didn't like it... such a depressing movie... and there's like, two good parts. And to top it off, we had a "family meeting." Where everyone talks about what's been nothering them lately and who's been bothering them... mainly it's whos been bothering them. So ya... seems I was the target of the night. And I dunno why but i flipped... let loose on all my tears... yikes it was a disaster. So in short, me birthday wasn't super. But mom made up for it the next day... and we went bowling the night before with my extended family... which was relaly nice.
So it was my last indoor soccer game tonight. And so they decided to make it a "fun" game. All the parents got to play... b-o-r-i-n-g!!! I hated it!! They put like 50 ppl on at once! It was SO crazy!!! But I am so excited... the outdoor season starts in a month!! YAY! And next weekend is my reffing clinic. Like half my indoor team is reffing so it'll be cool. But that weekend is so crazy... I have so much on... gotta find a way to sort it all out!! Hopefully it'll all work out.
Well my dad's kicking me off so I gotta book. Hope you all are doing well and I'll (hopefully - also unlikely... but ya never know lol) post again soon!

Ah!!! I just wrote a whole entry and it got deleted (AGAIN!!!). I think the computer hates me.
So sorry, I haven't been on here forever... and I don't really have a good excuse for it this time. lol. Just haven't gotten around to it I guess.
Hmm, I'm trying to remember what has happened. Well I bought some new soccer cleits. They're amazing white Adidas. I love them!!! lol. They're so cool!!! I amd so pumped for soccer! I can't wait for outdoor to start!! So my Easter was nice... I really connected with God this weekend... like for the past years I've always been like, "oh ya, Easter. Candy. Sweet." I never really focused on what the weekend was really about. This year I thought about it more and got deeper. It was so great... and I sang in the church on Sunday (well in worship team). It was a really nice service. It being Easter and everything. Tim (my older bro) is practicing for football alot... keeps us busy and keeps us driving everywhere. Crazy! But it's good... he loves it. I had an orthodontist appointmen yesterday. After, mom and I went shopping aand she bought me a ton of stuff for my birthday... which is in 4 days!!! Sunday!!! I'm so excited!!

But had an amazing soccer game last night!! Got 3 goals... and had some sweet plays. Once again. my coach barely subed me off. It was awesome.
Ya when I said short I meant really short. Mom set me up to have a pilates class with her instructor ( Is she trying to hint something? - lol just kidding... I'm trying to get in better shape for soccer).
Well I'm away for the weekend so I won't be able to post until like Monday...

Mar. 27, 2007 - Sore leg...
Well this really sucks. The other night on the way to soccer I took a spill in the front of our house and strained a muscle in my leg. Than on the weekend I (somehow) pulled a muscel in my thigh. Man, it hurt so bad. It's so much better now, but my dad's not letting my play soccer this week :(. AHH!! This is torture. I can't live without my soccer.... I guess it's bettet to miss one game though, than a bunch of games due to a bad injury (which could very well happen if I play on Thursday). I know this is being a bad girl, but I'm kinda planning on playing... only if my knee is ok. But don't worry, I won't hurt myself (if any of you care :p).
The weather is SO georgeous!! Almost all the snow is gone, and the sun is out and it's getting warm!! I'm so excited!! Can't wait for summer... I'm so sick of winter.
Hey, my birthday's in... um... 18 days!! Ya, I'm pretty excited. You know, not having a birthday for whole year and all... usually u get pretty excited for these things.
Well I gotta run... gotta finish school.

Had an amazing soccer game tonight!! We were so good the first half... although we lost out "touch" in the second. Didn't do too great... but it was fun. So good to be back after the break. Well sorry for the short post but i gotta hit the shower...
Going to a friend's house for a sleepover tomorrow... oh ya on the way to soccer tonight, i started running (not noticing there was ice right in front of me) and totally wiped out. AND (!!) I fell in a puddle! I got soaked! So ya, that really sucked. But anyhoo, hope you all have a great weekend!!

Had guitar today... went pretty good. I'm so loving it! And back to school... yay... wasn't bad. Good to see my friends again. I'm excited for this week though. I need soccer so bad! I've been going for jogs so that keeps me up but it''s not the same. (duh). Ya I saw this movie called Goal... I loved it! Although there were some "scenes" that i would recommend you fast-forward for anyone who watches it. This guy lives in poverty for his whole life and illegally comes from Mexico to the States, where he plays soccer. The right person happens to see him and get him a tryout for a team in England. He eventually makes it after going through alot of hardships... his dad dies... so on. It's really really good. And they have such passion for the game I love it. You never really see any good soccer movies... there expensive to make (so i hear) so there aren't many. So ya... I was dreaming... I (one day) would love to play proessionally. But for now it's just a dream. But, then again, you never know.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while... my life doesn't seem to be the greatest it's ever been. Nothing bad has happened or anything I'm just really, really stressed. I haven' really been into the last week or so.
Well not much has happened. Singing in worship tomorrow... quizzing practice. Can't wait to get back to routine... except for the school part lol. Well sorry I gotta run... hope everyone had a good break!
P.S. I really will get back into this... I don't really seem to be "into" anything right now... life, school... When school starts I'm sure I'll get back on track.

Man, I was getting so good at this! I just can't seem to keep up posting everyday!!
My cousin and cousin-in-law are here from Virginia. We're having a blast! They're tons of fun! So that's one reason I haven't got to post for a few days.
I had soccer on Thursday night. Not on of my best games but it was ok. But, come to think of it, I say that like everytime don't I? lol. We started off really slow... they scored a couple goals on us. but we picked up the pace... got our goals back. I didn't get any but had some assists... set up some sweet plays. It was pretty good. So good to play again. I hadn't played for two weeks... which isn't a long time for most people but it's too long for me. lol.
So my March break has started! YAY! I guess you guys in the States call it your Spring break (?). But anyhoo, I'm so ready for a break... I'm so stressed.. and loaded with homework. Here's what I mean by stressed. I have a 97 average or something in science, and I got a 77% on my last test. Well it's physics so that's my excuse. I'm not bad at it, but i hate it! I was really ticked. My friend thinks I'm crazy for getting upset but that's just me.
It's starting to get warmer here... all the snow is melting (yes!!!). And I'm really excited! Can't wait for summer.
So this post is really random... as are most of mine... but yeah. lol. If you guys haven't noticed yet, I don't make sense alot. Don't really have much to write about (if u couldn't tell). Hope you can make some sense out of this post.

Mar. 6, 2007 - Quiz meet...
Ah I've been so busy. I haven't been on the computer long enough to post!Ha, my siblings are outside doing football drills (and i must add that it's seriously like -15 degrees out there). Man, my older bro always gets them going...Ok, this is crazy. Last Thursday there was a snow day, again on Friday. And then the weekend. Then Monday and Tuesday (today) have both been snow days! It's been SO cold!!So I was at a quiz meet this past weekend! It was so fun!! We had such nice billots (people we stayed with on Friday night). At the meet my team came in like 18 out of 40. And we came 1st out of our church! AND (lol) I made it in the top 10 new quizzers!! Like there are new quizzers who just started this year, and I’m not sure how many there are but I came in ninth out of all them! And out of the 200 kids or so in total, I came in 36!! I was so excited! And I quizzed out with a bonus (which means I answered three questions right without getting any other questions wrong. So I get extra bonus points). It was sweet! Well here are some pics from the meet! Us in a quiz...we're taking a break while the quizmaster is dabating an answer. usually we look way more intense. lol. Everyone chillin' between quizzes... this was everyone's luggage form our church... and we were relaxing on all of it...
