My family watched a really cool movie last night. Called "Facing The Giants." Not one of my favourite movies but the moral was so good. It was about a high school football coach. Everything in his life was going wroing. Everyone wanted to fire him from coaching ('cus his team lost every game), he and his wife wanted kids but couldn't have any, his car doesn't work... and it goes on. It just shows him throughout the movie going through all his. Then he realizes he needs to give all control over to God. He starts coaching with the Bible, and God, as the center of the team. The guys all start to get it and start playing.. and start winning games. One day some of the guys on the team stand up in the school and start confessing sins, and asking friends for forgiveness. This leads to alot of people accepting Christ. It was so amazing. Then, he comes out after work, and finds his car missing. But in its place is a brand-new truck... with a note saying it's his. Someone on the team bought it for him. His tema makes it to the play-offs, only to lose that game. The team is all upset but continure to praise God. But they later find out the team they played had cheated by playing guys in college and get disqualified, giving the team another chance. They win all the games, and make it to the State Championships. Which, of course, the win. lol. But at the end the coach says to the team, "God is amazing. We weren't supposed to win this game. We weren't supposed to be here. We weren't even supposed to make it into the play-offs. But, tell me. Who did this? It was all God." He starts asking the players, "What's impossible with God?" They all answer nothing. Over and over again. It is so true. At the end of the movie, the have a baby and everything works out. It's truly amazing what God can do. just amazing. "Nohing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37. My favourite Bible verse. It really encouraged me to want to have faith like that. I really want to trust God with everything, ,,, praise Him in good times and bad.
I hope that ministered to you guys a bit... it just really touched me the other night. If any of you can, watch the movie sometime. It's really good.
I have a quiz meet this weekend!!! I'm so excited! We are leaving tomorrow night and get back on Saturday night. We're billoting on Friday night... which is so much fun! But we are having crazy weather here. Loads of snow! So we might not get to billot! I'm so sad! We might have to driveup super early on Saturday morning. I hope not... But anyways i'm super ready. Got Acts 14 memorized for this one!

Sorry guys! Have tons I want to write about but basically my whole family needs the computer... it's like 10 p.m... the time when all my family members (those being over 13) need the comp :). So, me, being the youngest of those, I ran out here first... only to get kicked off. I'll blog tomorrow (hopefully!).

Feb. 23, 2007 - Random...
So totally can't think of anything to post about. Last night's soccer wasn't great... we totally kicked butt again but we didn't have enough players so we took someone from the other team just to play a scrimmage since we basically lost to forfeit. But out league is basically a scrimmage just to keep skills up through the winter so its doesn't really matter. But it so happens that the kid who came to play with us, i dislike very much... sorry, I know that's not very nice of me, but this kid really bothers me. He reminds me of the kind of people who can bend their legs like in the wrong direction. Gross! Anyways, he doesn't really know how to play soccer. I can see why we smoke the other team every week. Okay, like every time i had the ball this game, i would carry it up the field, andhe would come up right beside me and take it from me and then totally screw up the play! AHH! I hated that when I played... but that only happened till I wa slike six. Anyhoo... I ended up scoring 5 goals or something... but it wasn't one of my best games. My coach wasn't there so some random person started coaching us... it was ok but I was out in defense (which i don't normally play). I went to stop the ball and totally rolled over it. Embarrasing. lol. I was so excited 'cus the guy i'm rooting for on American Idol didn't get cut the other night. yay.

Went to the orthodontist on Tuesday... got my expander taken out! YAY!! But, i got four more brackets put on, then everything tightened, plus elastics. So my mouth has been pretty sore.
This weather is so weird... it was just really cold like two days ago, and all of a sudden got warmer (er). lol. Our rink is melting :(. But hopefully it'll get cold again.
I have a soccer game tonight! So excited (as usual). And this time there is a game... i hope. At least i never heard there wasn't. But i guess i didn't last time. I seriously think i would cry if there wasn't a game tonight. But there should be... and so are sign-ups for outdoor. Can't wait. It's so much better then indoor.
I have a quiz meet in two weekends... and i have like 17 verses to do by Sunday. I hope I can go... although if i can't, i'm going to teen ranch again. I'm kinda sad, 'cus i just told a friend i could go to teen ranch that weekend but just told her i couldn't... totally forgot about the meet.
Anyways, don't have anything really to write about so here's a little thingy... get them in emails and stuff all the time.

Feb. 18, 2007 - Teen Ranch!!
I had such an amazing weekend!!!! Let me fill you in:
So I left for Teen Ranch on Friday night. As soon as I got there I met my friends and we hung out for a bit, four of us, setting up our beds and stuff. Then we wondered around the property, meeting the groups and stuff. Winding up at someone's house (who lives there), we watched a movie (Step Up - love that movie!) and had pizza, while meeting the other weekend staff. So fun! her house is like 2 seconds from girls staff [cabins] but we drove back with one of the girls. But on the way the guys walking back were walking in the middle of the lane and wouldn't let us pass, and we, somehow, ended up in the snow bank. Man, that car... every time I was in that car, we always slid down a hill or something. Her tires sucked. lol. So, some guy came and tried to help us (by this time it was like curfew and we were supposed to be in our rooms), and another came soon after and pulled us out with his car. But, get this, as he was pulling her out, he went to fast and pulled the car into the bank across the street! AH! It was so funny. We ended up getting the car out and got back to our rooms safely. Then we were up talking and all that 'till 12:00-ish. Crazy first night.
A really, really loud noise woke me up Saturday morning. A girl in my room brought an alarm (if she hadn't, we would've never waken up). It turns out she set the alarm, but had the volume up high. It scared me out of my pants!!! It was so freaky. 6:30, I got out of bed (very reluctantly) and got ready for the day. In the kitchen at 7:15, got ready for breakfast... and every single other thing you do in a kitchen!! From washing dishes to setting tables, making muffins to washing the floor. How exciting... ha. lol. We got off breakfast at like 9:30, and did nothing really exciting until lunch (except for skating on the pond for about 10 minutes), which we had to be getting ready for at 10:30. . Served lunch, doing the same thing... got off at 2:00. We had been planning to go on a trail ride with one of the retreats, which started at 2:00. So we threw on our riding stuff and booked it to the barn. And we made it! But there was a mix-up. Apparently barn staff didn't know so many staff were coming and didn't have enough horses. So some staff didn't get to go. A couple hours before, I "reserved" a horse (Buckshot - a.k.a. best horse in the world!!) for the ride. I had him the whole week I was at camp during the summer and I was SO excited to see him again!!! I had an amazing ride! There had been a ride right before ours and a girls told all my friends not to ride the "spotted horse." Which was Buckshot. He reared her off during the ride before... the poor girl. But he was great for me! I needed that ride SO bad! Don't remember what we did after, but we were back in the kitchen at 4:30. Served, washed dished, made food, same old. Then we went skating! There's a rink at the camp too and they had a public skate... that we skated at from 7:00 till 8:15. Then we headed to the Parlor. We had Bible Study and a little party for a girl who's birthday was yesterday. I really liked Bible study but the other weekend staff didn't seem to. It's a Christian camp, but I don't know how many of their staff are actually Christians. It don't particularly love that, but I'm not the one hiring people... I just don't think it's a good example for non-Christian kids who come to camp. Anyways, they asked everyone the question, "Do you believe and prayer and why?" Most of them didn't really know or said no. And for some reason, I fell God really placed on of them on my heart. He said he "didn't really know 'cus he'd never prayed before." And as soon as he said that, something in me just made me feel like I really needed to pray for him. So that's what I've been doing... my answer was yes because I've seen God answer so many prayers... and I gave a few examples. So after cake, they started a movie (Flicka - my favourite horse movie!!), but a couple of us didn't stay. We went back to our rooms and hung out in the dining hall and kitchen. It's sweet 'cus we're right under the kitchen and Dining Hall so we can go eat whatever and whenever we want! And they have like every food imaginable!! And again, we didn't end up getting to bed 'till 12-ish.
Woke up at 6:30, this time not getting up 'till 6:45. And, of course, the day we had to be there earlier (which none of us knew), I got up later. But we made it on time! Did breakfast, went to church (but had to leave early), and came back to serve lunch. After lunch, we had our hopes up to go on a trail ride... we asked barn staff they said ok but we had to check with one of the main lady's, and she said we had to have someone over 18 to go with us. And one of the girls are gonna be 18 n four month! But that didn't quite make it :(. So we went all over the Ranch, looking for any staff over 18 to go on a trail with us. And, finally, we found one!! So we ran to the barn and got ready... well sort of. First, we had to let the horses in (from the winter field - which is not the closest ring!). None of them wear halters out so we had to halter all the ones we wanted, tie them, and let the other horses back out again. But we had some chaos. As we were letting one horse out, one we were gonna rise, snapped the chain off her halter and took off with the other horses. So we had to go all the way down and get her. They got her and brought her back. But then we realized we were short one horse. So someone had to go al the way back down and get another horse. Then we all tacked up and headed off (after at least an hour). The trail was so great... Buckshot was (once again!) amazing. Although this time we cantered... which I totally love but Bucky is totally the bumpiest horse I've ridden in my life! So I bounced quite a bit. We got back, hung out a little, then everyone slowly left. My dad picked me up and I ran in the door, but ran back out when my ride to quizzing came. That leads me to now. Where I am barely able to keep my eyes open, and Keith Urban (I know, it's country) is lulling me to sleep. So I better get to bed... sorry this was so long! Hope I didn't bore you too much!

Feb. 15, 2007 - Soccer...
Well so much for soccer...
I was so excited for my game tonigh. Got all ready to go... I play just across the street so it's not bad. But my dad gave me a lift on his way dropping my mom off. There's kinda a curve in the wall as you walk to the doors. As I rounded the curve, I stopped dead and stared in. There were tons of kids in there, and the lights in the gym were off. So I quickly turned around and started walking home... just as my dad was driving out. It turns out, it was the Valentines dance... why they didn't have it yesterday, I don't know. lol. But I was so upset :(. And it turns out my dad knew... just remembered when i got home. lol. Doesn't it always turn out that way? I was so excited for this game! I was so pumped!! It's really dumb, but I felt like crying on my way home... I love soccer so much and only get to play once a week during the winter. But oh well, there's next week. But that's a whole 7 days away!!! AHH! lol. I'm sure I'll live. (I hope!!)
So tomorrow I'm heading to Teen Ranch. Working in the kitchen ALL weekend. Fun, fun. Three meals a day... get up at 6:30, breakfast at 8:00, done at 10:00-ish, got to get ready for lunch at 11:00-ish, done lunch at 1:00-ish, ready for dinner at 5:00-ish (i think)... and then we party after 7:00. Well not quite... but we have breaks all in between meals and after.. so it is alot of fun. And the people are so fun! I'm always so nervous before I go, but once i'm there, I never wanna leave!!

Feb. 14, 2007 - Valentines day...
So does anybody here watch American Idol? I like never do, we usually don't get it in on our tv. But tonight my dad went upstairs (the bunny ears are up there) and played around with them while one of us yells up if it comes in or not. lol. Our family doesn't watch much TV, if you didn't notice. :). But it was cool to watch. There's this Indian guy who i hope makes it...
So today was a snow day!! Loads of snow out here! Our rink was completely covered in like 2 feet of snow... not sure who shoveled it but i'm sure they had fun! (hehe lol). The snow's great though... but cold. But it makes the earth look so clean and beautiful. Especially during a sunrise or sunset... but I love those anytime. I shouldn't be talking 'cus I don't really enjoy snow... always makes things so much harder. Like in the summer you can just run outside in barefeet and a T-shirt. but in the winter you have to put on boots, a coat, hats, mits... the whole bit. But i'm learning to work with it... plus it's the only way you can snowmobile :). Well i totally love snowmobiling... sadly, I do not own one :(. And don't get to snowmobile often.. but i love it when i do get to! It's a blast!
I'm headed off to Teen Ranch for the weekend... working in the kitchen. Fun, fun. But hey, the people are great. So I won't be posting anything (after thursday) till Sunday or Monday... not that I really posted much anyway, but I'm workin on it.
Like I said in my entry before, people (teenages mainly) are so mopy on Valentines day if they're single (well not all teens:). I wasn't out of the house much today, but I talked to at least 2 people who were all depressed and upset. Man, people take it all too seriously. I just give cards to all my friends... i didn't get any today though. :(. But probly 'cus i didn't see any of my friends today. I still have Valentines cards to give out to my friends...
Well I should get to bed... slept in too late this morning (only 20 after 9 but that's still too late fr my liking). Then I wasted my morning on the computer... so i'll be catching up on some schoolwork tomorrow. The wonders of homeschooling! lol. I think i'd be totally stressed if i went to school...
Anyways, hope you all had a great valentines day!

Feb. 13, 2007 - life...
Being in teenager... ah, so much drama. I tell ya, homeschooling is amazing. I am so glad I homeschool. And HSB is so cool... being able to talk with other homschoolers and stuff... plus all of you are so nice! I go to a homeschool group thingy, that other homeschoolers go to. It's really great... 4 of my best friends go there...
So tomorrow's Valentine's Day. I don't like how people are so mopy on Valentine's day if they're single. Of course not everybody's like that... like me! lol. I don't mind being single. In a world like ours though, it does get hard sometimes... everybody pressuring you and stuff. That's anothe thing I love about homeschooling... there's not as much peer pressure. I mean, we all get peer pressure, or pressure from our parents, siblings... things like that. But I can really maintain my relationship with God and my good friends when I'm at home or with my homeschool friends (who are all Christians). But when I'm with my non-Christian friends, i find it harder. My brother just started grade ten at public school, after being homeschooled all his life, and seems to love it. But i don't know if he standing firmly for what he believes. I know he doesn't swear (some of his friends at school are mine too), but one of his friends told me somebody told him to once and he did. It is really easy to give into pressure. I don't know if my non-Christian friends know i'm a Christian. I am totally not afraid to tell them. I hope I can witness to them. It seem so hard sometimes... anyways...hope at least some of that made sense :)
Crazy weather called for tonight... there's supposed to be a huge snow storm. I go to my homeschool thingy tomorrow but if it's a snow day then there won't be...
I just realized today that in one week exactly, I'm getting my expander out!! I'm so excited. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's like a retainer but you can't take it in and out. And it's hard to talk :P. lol. So i'm really excited to get it out! I'll finally be able to talk again!!
I coached (soccer) tonight. Krista, my sister - who is on tha team i coach, couldn't come, so i brought Danny, my younger bro, to play. He plays in the league under but I though they'd let him play. He loved it! He was so cute and played amazing! Scored 2 goals! I'm so proud of the little guy!
Well my dad is wanting my help myaking a Valentines card for mom... so I better run.

Ah couldn't think of a title lol. Guess I'm not doing great at maintaning this blog am I? How do any of you blog everyday! I never have time! I Ha I wish!! Does anyone have any ideas for something(s) i can do to make my blog more fun? I'm trying to figure out how to put music on.. and a cbox. So if anyone knows how, can you help me?!? lol.
Well so much has happened since I last blogged. I'm really excited 'cus I feel I'm really growing in my faith. I was listening to Jeremy Camp the other day (as I do almost everyday :), and one of the lines in his songs really popped out at me. The song "Let it Fade" off his new c-d, "Beyond Measure." That song (as do most his songs) really touched me. K guys, I hope I don't bore you with this... I won't be offended if you don't read it. So if it's not interesting you, you don't have to read :).
The third verse where it says, "have you been holding on to what this world has offered," really made me think. I really do have alot... way more than I need. Andlike it says, "it will be gone, forever gone." Like, when we get to heaven, we'll have none of it. We won't need it. And since the only reason we're here on earth is to tell others about Jesus, why do we need so much? Why has God given me so much? I believe God did this for our entertainment. Of course there are things that are vital for us to live, but things like malls, amusement parks, etc., He didn't have to give us all these. It's amazing how much these things can distract us for what we're here for... I really going to try to focus on God in everything I do. Hope at least some of that made sense :)
On Thursday night, I had soccer. I played a pretty good game, which i'm very proud of. We won... i think. We were up like 10 goals in the first half, but then we put our "back-up" goalie in net. She wasn't feeling good at all (which our coach didn't believe) so she had a oretty bad game. Let prett much every shot in. We still won but they got pretty close. Talk about boring game...
Yesterday, my friend had a party. SO much fun!! Such a blast Jenna! I got there at 3:30, but had to leave at 5:30 'cus I had a fundraising dinner for quizzing to go to... which i had to serve at. But it turned out great! It was alot of fun!! When the dinner was over, I went back to her house (by this time it was like... 10:30 p.m.), and we had cake :). We played Cranium for hours (!!), getting a little side tracked now and then. Then we got our p-j's on and talked for another couple hours. So we ended up going to bed at5:00-ish a.m. Crazy! But loads of fun!! We got up at 9:30 and had pancakes! YUM! And then went to church. I had so much fun! And Leah, if you read this, it was so fun hanging out with you again!! (call me!) lol.
Mom said something about going to bed early tonight... i think she's already in bed... but i should go get ready. Later guys!! Thanks for reading!

Feb. 3, 2007 - Back...
So... guess it's been a while since I've blogged. I've been so busy. Plus my mom doesn't like me on the computer alot... I don't have much time to write anything.
My dad has been working on a skating rink in our backyard. It's so great! Tons of fun! My and my siblings are out there all the time. Kind of annoying living in town though... all the neighbors are always staring at us and a couple of them have asked us why we're not in school. Such a pain. I wish I lived in the country.
My family has been battling the flu for the last few days. Not the worst we've ever got, but no matter how long you have the flu, it isn't fun. You'd think it's good being the only healthy one in your family, but in this case, it's not. Of course I REALLY don't wanna catch it, but when everyone is in bed and barphing, I'm the one helping them and cleaning it up. Plus, with the baby brother, it's even more crazy. Luckily, my older brother was at my aunt's house, but was sick there. Not good for her, but took some weight off my shoulders. Both my parents were in bed all day, my younger brother barphed, and my sister was up all the night before throwing-up. So gross! AH! But, we are all over it now. I felt a bit queasy today, but haven't caught it... yet! And I really hope I don't. My house has been chaos!!
Ah guess what? My ganglion (if you remember, I got it drained) looks like it's coming back! I hope it's not... but it's really hard. If it is it, I have to get surgery.... pray it's not!!
My soccer game was canceled this week 'cus the place I play was being used for something. I was so ticked!! Plus I got new Reebok soccer socks... I was so excited to wear them in my game. But I have to wait until Thursday!! AH!
So tomorrow's the Super Bowl. A HUGE event in my family (extended family included). My whole extended family loves football. And half of them play. So my aunt's having all of us over for a big party. Exciting.... lol
Well I should run. Didn't sleep last night and I want to get to bed early.
I'll try to blog more... sorry I haven't! I'm gonna work on it!

Jan. 25, 2007 - Today...
So today I got up, had a shower, and started school. Pretty boring. But at 3-ish I had to go to a doctor's appointment. I have a ganglion on my wrist (if any of you know what that is... it's a cist). So pretty gross. Well I got it checked and he said he could drain it for me. So he froze it (killed SO bad!!) and stuck some big needle thingy in to drain the fluid out. It wasn't bad... just the freezing. My hand's still really sore so I'm typing with one hand. lol. And I have a soccer game tonight... gonna be a pain!! Hope I don't hurt anything! Ah I play mid-field so I do the throw-ins... looks like I won't be tonight. lol. Well I gotta run... sorry for all the short posts... will write (hopefully) as soon as I have time. Plus my hand's getting tired... will be better when I can use 2 hands again :).

Jan. 21, 2007 - Sunday...
Today has been so nice and relaxing. Yesterday was pretty boring... can't even remember what I did :) lol. Today I had to get up early... usually I don't get up till 9-ish on Sunday's (our church doesn't start till 10:30). But today I had to get up at 7:30. Not bad though, I like getting up early. Everyon thinks I'm weird 'cus I hate sleeping in :). I wish I could always get up at that time. Anyways, I went to church and practiced with the team for an hour or so. Then the service started. It ws so much fun!! I loved it! I can't wait to do it again!! I can't wiat until I can play my guitar with them!! yay!! Well I gotta scram. Hope you all had an awesome Sunday!

Jan. 16, 2007 - Quiz meet...
I'm so mad right now!! I just wrote a whole entry and it got deleted!!! So this ones gonna be a lot shorter but I'll try to remember what I wrote.
On Saturday I went to a quiz meet!! It was a blast! So fun!! We left here at 7-ish (a.m.) so I woke up at 6. Everyone looked so tired when we met. It was hilarous. I was so excited we got our t-shirts!! They say, "Say what..." on the front and on the back it says, "The truth." Pretty cool. The ride up there was crazy. We usually take a bus but this time wee took vans. I was with my friends Berit and Rebecca. And Brad and Dave were with us too. They are so funny!! The ride was crazy. Every van had a walkie talkie and Dave had it the whole time. He was saying the weirdest things. I remember him talking about cocaine... somthing about he's got 100 pounds of it (which he didn't! Don't freak out lol). Tne he pretended he was Arnold Shwartznager (sp.?). He actually sounded alot like him. lol. When we got there we had worship for a half hour or so. It was great! Then the quizzes began. They are so fun!! I got 5 jumps! (jumped 5 times before everyone else and got the questions right!). I'm so proud of myself!! In total you have 6 quizzes. 3 before lunch and 3 after. They were loads of fun! The day was packed!! Then, sadly, we had to leave. But I can't wait for the next one!!! In March!! It's gonna be awesome!!

Jan. 10, 2007 - Sad time...
This is so heartbreaking. Well on Tuesday my Aunt Kitty phoned my house. My mom was talking to her for about half an hour, and that whole time, all I heard was, "That's so sad.... how's is everyone?.... how did it hapen?" Questions similar to that. I tell ya, I was dying sitting their listening. I had no idea what was wrong. When my mom finally got off the phone, she said, "D'you remember Linday's friend...?" He was a friend of my cousin's (Lindsay - the one in Africa). They were such good friends... and I remember him. He had been around my aunts house and I remember him from her church and stuff. Then she said, "He comitted suicide yesterday." Right then, I felt like I was going to cry. I couldn't believe it. I mean, I didn't know him well at all, but I had seem him quite alot when I was younger. You always here of stuff like this happening, but you never think it'll happen to any of your friends. It such a sad thing. There is so many hurting and grieving. He was only 25... so young. His family, his friends... they all need prayers. If you wouldn't mind praying... whenever you think of it. It just goes so deep. But God's love is great, and it will heal those hurting. Thanks so much... if you could keep them in your prayers it would be appreciated so much. There is so much pain and heartache...

Jan. 7, 2007 - Excited!!
Hey do any of you guys like Stellar Kart? I love 'em!! I was just think of there song, "Life is Good." It's cool. The chorus goes, "life is good, eternal life is better." Pretty cool eh? It's so true... anyways, just felt like saying that.
I am so excited!!! K, well I was asked to be on my church's worship team like two years ago but I said no. But I asked one of our worship team leaders avout it a couple weeks ago and she said I could defanitly (sp.? u know i can't seem to spell that word right. lol. If you feel like it, feel free to tell me) be on the team!! I'm so excited!! So I'll be singing and, in a few months, playing my guitar too!!! I'm so excited. So I guess you guys get that I'm really excited! lol.
Tonight I was at quizzing... back from holidays. It feels like forever since I've done school (which is great!!). It was a blast! I tracked (memorized and recited) 6 verses. Wish I could've done more though. And I have to finish my chapter by Wednesday!! Whcih actually isn't bad because I only have like 8 verses left to memorize... so ya.
Tomorrow school starts again... :(. Along with all my regular activities. School is probly what I'm least excited for (go figure!). I actually don't mind school. I don't hate it, but I don't love it... Iif you know what I mean. It's not bad though. But I'm so excited to (finally!) get back to soccer!! I've been dying!! And it'll be great to get back to coaching again... although it's not my favourite thing but anything to do with soccer I'm dying for!!! And then I'll be back for guitar... which is tomorrow night. I'm excited for that too! So ya, I'm excited about lot!! lol.
Well I just found out some shocking news tonight. My brother, who just started grade ten in school this september (for the first time in his life), skipped school the last day before holidays!!! Wouldn't my parents be thrilled to hear that! Just kidding, just kidding. I'm not the kind of person to find every possible way to get my brother in trouble. Actually, I don't know if I should tell my parents or not. I would've thought the teachers would like let my parents know or something, but my friend (who is in Tim's grade and goes to the school) said the teachers don't even care! So Id on't know if I should tell my folks or not!! Like I don't want Tim to get mad at me and I don't want to seem like a bit tattle-tale!! So I'm stuck. And guess why he skipped?!? To play poker!!! At a friend'd house (who lives like 3 houses down from us). But I heard they only bid up to 10 cents or something. Wouldn't my brother be thrilled to know I just told all you that. lol. Anyway...
Well school starts tomorrow... so I better get to bed. And I think I have some things to do...

Jan. 4, 2007 - My day
Ok, guess what happened? Last night I wrote a whole long entry, I added pictures and everything. But it deleted itself!!!!! AHHH! I was so mad but had to go to bed so I couldn't rewrite it.
Anyways, today was pretty good. But I went shopping... yes, again. lol. My mom's friend has two grisl and they are about the same age as me and my sister. so we're good friends with them... but I haven't sene them for like a year. So it was really cool to see them again. And they wanted to go shopping. I bought a scarf and a sweet adidas sport sweater. Now adidas is my favourite sports brand, so finding a sweater that's origanlly $90 for $19, I was pretty psyched. lol. It was a blast. And the other day i bought a pair of umbro soccer shorts for $2... that's pretty sweet. Even though I have about 20 pairs of soccer shorts, it's the only kinda shorts I wear... so you can never have too many. lol. Well My dad just called and said it's time for bed... wow. I haven't been told it was time for bed forever. Usually I just go to bed when I'm done everything. So I better go. I'm gonna post a couple pics too... Here's some drawings... probly my 2 best ones... I entered them in our town fair. Well later guys!

Jan. 2, 2007 - New years and more
It's Ben's (my baby brother) first birthday today!! Happy Birthday buddy!! Here's a pic of him "saying" he's 1!
And here he is again! What a cutie!!
Ouch... my teeth hurt. lol. I was at the orthodontist this morning. Oh joy. How much fun does that sound? They just changed my wires and added another bracket. Not too bad. Afterwards, mom, Tim and Daniel (my bro's - they came with us) went around the mall - returning stuff and buying stuff. lol. Not too exciting.
So on Friday my cousin, Ashley, and my, now, cousin-in-law, Dan, got married. Yay!! It was such a sweet wedding. It was so nice. I am so happy for them. The wedding started at 3 and ended probly around 4-ish or before. The reception wasn't until 7 so most of the family went to Aunt Kitty and Uncle Pete's house (they live close to the church - we live like 45 minutes away). The famiy hang out there for the 3 or so hours it was. Tons of fun! I love getting together with our family. Then at 7 the family all left for the church. The reception was so nice too. They had tons (!!) of deserts!!! They made way more then they needed to. My Aunt went home with like, 20 or so pies. And about a billion cookies! lol. After the reception (which my family didn't leave until 11 - we cleaned up), we all headed back to Aunt Kitty's house. And we were up so late... as we usually are when we're at their house. My dad went home but the rest of us stayed and slept over... he was planning to come back in the morning anyways. I think he wanted to check on the office too. So my weekend was a blast! It was great spending so much time with the family... and Ashley and Dan are now happily married. It's kinda cool 'cus Ashley's sister, Kristin, is engaged. They both got engaged in like a month. So we have another family wedding. But she is going to school in Alberta, and her fiances (sp?) is moving out there to look for work. They're planning on getting married there so it's unlikely we'll be able to get out for their wedding. :(. I'm really disappointed. But oh well. We actually have another family wedding, which we are going to, in August. This wedding's in Novia Scotia. And we're driving there. Fun, fun. That'll be an adventure. I'm sorta excited but really sad 'cus we can't go to the cottage.
On the weekend I got to talk to my cousin, Lindsay, who is in Africa. It was so great!! I hadn't talked to her in forever!! She seems to be doing well.
On New Year's Eve, I went to my friend, Katie's, house. We were going to babysit for friends of hers. We got there at 6 and then they came back at 7, put the kids to bed, and left again. Weird... but they thought we wouldn't be able to handle putting them to bed or something. Anyway, we were there till 11-ish. We had another hour to kill before New Years. We got ready for bed then played some sorry game. Then we watched some show to countdown till New Years. At 12 o'clock, I called my parents to wish them a Happy New Year. Then we watched Aquamarine. It's a pretty cool movie. I loved it. Finally, at like 3:30, we went to sleep.But we woke up the next morning at 9. I was so tired. The day wasn't too exciting. We speed-stacked, took pictures (I found out how to use the timer on my camera so I was taking a ton of pictures lol), went for a walk, listened to music while reading Briogirl magazines. I had to head home 'cus our family was going to my aunt's (aunt Patty this time lol) for a New Years dinner. If you haven't noticed yet, we get together with my family alot! So that was my New Years...

Dec. 28, 2006 - Phew!
I'm very happy to say the robbers didn't come back last night!! Thank the Lord. It was pretty tense around here last night. Me and my sis were gonna go to our friends down the street for a sleepover, but my sis isn't great with sleepovers yet. We went to her house and watched Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. I love that movie!!! It's sweet!!! After the movie Kris (Krista - my sister) didn't think she'd be able to sleepover, so our friend came back to our house. I was glad to come back. My mom was at my aunt's housde baking... my cousin's getting married and she asked all the aunt's to make like a billion of their "specialties." Ok, not quite a billion. But they made tons!! So my dad was home alone. And he was thinking of sleeping at the office. So I was really worried. When I got home I was happy to find him sleeping in bed. Phew! lol. But my mom was gonna come home... although she wouldn't be back till like 1 or 2 a.m. When she got back my dad went out to check on the office for a little bit. I woke up when he got home and heard him talking to mom. I thought I heard him say there were like 5 guys breaking in... but I guess I was a little tired lol. This morning mom said everything's fine and they didn't come back! What a relief!! Well I gotta run. My mom's out helping the mother of the bride... her wedding's tomorrow. Later guys!
