Everyone is still working hard on projects and display boards for our upcoming
colonial times unit celebration.
Nathan has been wading through a huge stack of books about pirates and taking
copious notes. He and Jordan are trying to make their own bow out of red oak.
Jordan worked hard on a template for it.

Allyson
is ready to mount all of her colonial living information on her display board
already!
Kathryn finished her formal schoolwork really early on Friday. By 9:00 in the
morning she was reading A Lion to Guard Us. She didn't get up from
her chair until she had finished the entire book! I guess it was a good one.
:-)

Have a wonderful and adventuresome week of learning!

Sounds like a fun week! My ds has begun (finally) to "get into" reading. He will often read ahead of an assignment and finish a book sooner now. Don't you just love it? Have a blessed week. Julie http:funinthesunmom.blogspot.com

They both look like the are really loving their learning. It's so neat when they can't put a good book down.

You guys are really serious about this colonial project. Your daughter must love reading. My son does. He isn't satisfied just reading a book. He wants to read the whole series.
