Map of Andrynnor

Posted in People, Places, and Cultures

For those of you who are curious to know just what kind of setting my story takes place in, I have created a map using a black ballpoint pen, my trusty scanner, and Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9.  (Ah, the wonders of technology!)  Some names still need to be added, but aside from that I'm quite happy with it.  Please tell me what you think!

ok...now that is fantastic!!! It looks so good! Katie is in the midst of working on a map for FAD (I'm sure you knew that) and it has taken sooo many tries to get it right. Our first version is horrid! Well anyway it looks so good! I can't wait to read more! keep writing!

Wow, the map looks wonderful! I need to do something like that for my fantasy story...I have some rough sketches, but nothing solid. And seeing that I'm just beginning draft 4 (or...draft 3 1/2!), I ought to have my places straight! :-)
Talk to you later,

~Beth

I am inspired. I have countless maps of my continent, which I am expanding continually, but they are for my own reference when writing, to judge distance and surroundings. Thank you!

If I lived in your story I would live... hmmm... Ah! In that forest down from Wylderwood up in the mountains, near the spring of the river in that V shape of the mountains! That would be cool!
