Madison's Musings

Dec. 20, 2007 - Um...Hello???

Hi, that is to whoever wants to take the time to read this, I know I haven't really been up-to-date with you guys! SO I'm sorry! But my little sister's Birthday is tomorrow! The 21st! And she's really excited! She's going to be turning 6! :o) Time sure does fly by doesn't it. Well, seeing how it's been 6 years since I've known her, my heart has once gone hard towards her, then soft. And now I'm experiencing something totally new to me this year! Every time I see her little face, or hear her voice, I'm just blessed that I'm able to say "That's my little sister!"

Because I know that we're one of the lucky ones, being able to support 5 people in a family, a good house, and a good education! It's something that we need to be thankful for!

Espically having parents, we need to look at our surroundings and think "How can I bless someone with what I have?" Because I want to give you guys a challenge, let's not let Christmas time be only time of giving, but ALL year! Because We weren't meant to have something and keep it hidden for ourselves till it's to late and realize, God gave me these things to use for others, not just me... You could take some of your unused clothes, and give them to people who don't have them, think about it, we're one of the luckiest country's!

We have freedom that can reach out to the smallest of God's wonders. This is the time where you have to treat others better than yourself! It should ALWAYS be the time when you think of others better than yourself! Even the people that might treat you like dirt...because if you were in their position wouldn't you want someone to come up to you and say "Hey, would you like to eat lunch together?" Or maybe, to invite them over some time, get to know someone this year!

And use God's gifts for others! We need to remember these things as we go through life, because, you never know, when you're up in heaven, some little girl might come up to you and say "Hi, you don't know me, but you helped me come to know Jesus, so thank you..." And others are always watching, so you might effect others by how you act, because wherever you go, you never know, there might be an admirer...:oD And I'll be praying for you all! Have a Good CHRISTmas!

Blessings,

Madison
