Oct. 25, 2006 - Learning to Relax!
Homeschooling is such a learning process for moms! I've been so inandated with the "normal" structure of school that I forget that that's one of the reasons why I'm homeschooling...to allow my children to flourish on there own terms! I forget that they learn best in a more relaxed environment! The more I try to keep up with the Jones's the farther behind they will fall and the less happy they will be.
So on to a good day tomorrow:)

Every year gets a little easier and a little less guilt-ridden for me. Maybe it's because as my daughter gets older I can actually witness her growing and maturing mind! Have fun and remember ... you're giving your child the best education possible because NO ONE knows your child like you do!

I set aside one day a week for us to watch an educational video, work on a puzzle or visit one of the local museums.
