Aug. 21, 2008 - New Schoolyear
I finally set a date for starting school...Sept. 1st for Micah and Kaylee. Sage starts through WAVA on Sept 8. We are finally moved into our new house and I got our educational room all done. Here's some pics:
Micah is doing some Kindergarten and some 1st grade this year. We are continuing his CIMT year 1 Math and will start on year 2 when he is finished. He is starting Copywork this year and reading in Dick and Jane. I'm also looking into signing him and Kaylee up for Enrichment Classes at Camas Home River Link. They have some really neat classes for only $5 per class:) It will be something neat to break up their day:)
I didn't realise how much I needed to get organized before they start but it's coming along:) We are having a birthday barbeque this weekend for Kaylee and My birthdays...I'm looking forward to that:)
Well that's all for now...got lots to do:)

I love your room. It reminds me of when I did daycare!!! I had a room like this! As the kids got older they kept pulling things out of the school room onto the kitchen table or by the wood stove, so I just gave up and got rid of the "school room" and made learning centers around the home. Enjoy!
