
So I may be the "healthy eating" girl, but just because I eat healthy does NOT mean I have cut out dessert from my life! I do doctor most of my desserts with whole wheat flour and a healthier sugar alternative, but this recipe MUST be made as is...Someone asked for this recipe today so I HAD to make some for us too.
Chocolate Lava Cake (just like restaurants YUM!)
4 squares baking chocolate (or 4 ounces chocolate chips)
1 stick of butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
6 T flour
Melt butter and chocolate in small saucepan then remove from heat. Stir in sugar until dissolved, then eggs and yolks. Stir in flour.
GREASE 4 custard cups, and pour chocolate mixture into them. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes until outside is firm (center should be liquid still). Invert onto dessert plates, and top with REAL vanilla ice cream.
Warning: Each cake counts as 2 servings!
