Stainless steel pot, steel cut oats, Succanat (I'm a sucker for sweetness in my oatmeal, my boys would happily eat it without!) and some pure maple syrup.
Yes we are late eaters if you noticed the clock!
While it is cooking, we snack on apple slices. I buy organic apples 10 lbs at a time and we still go through them so fast!
It's ready! We like "crunchies" (as Andrew calls it) on our oatmeal. Its homemade granola. I posted the recipe last summer (you make it in a crockpot, super easy!).
