Reading List

I am currently reading some Joshua Harris books on courtship, VERY good.And I'm in Psalms again, its amazing how it always is just what I need in every situation I find myself in. At bedtime the boys and I in Leviticus.

Our Curriculum:

Horizons Math Grade 3, Apologia Science (Swimming Creatures), Sequential Spelling, Lifepac Language Arts (getting ready to start Grade 4) and we'll start a new History unit on Egypt when we finish science.

Apr. 22, 2008 - Tuesday Part 2

^{Meanwhile, here on the home front I have been BUSY! Trying to get my home in order, my children in order, homeschooling in order, healthy meals in order.. My children are my #1 effort right now. We are currently tomato staking. 2 months with a well meaning Grandma has left me with bickering boys who have forgotten how to do their chores properly. So I've been keeping them close, catching and dealing with misbehavior as SOON as it happens, and retraining them with our expectations.}

^{We did some spring cleaning this week, Freecycling some unwanted items and outgrown baby clothes (my 6 week old wears 3-6 month clothes!). We also rearranged the playroom to make it fresh and more usable since I didn't get the new storage items I had wanted.}

^{I even got over to meet my new neighbor today! She's been here over 2 months already! I felt like such a slacker!}
