Not much to blog about lately.
Today was a great day though. We had SUNSHINE!! So of course we went outside. Abigail and I sat in the shade of our lilac bush enjoying the heavenly smell.
Meanwhile the boys hunted bugs for 2 hours. They had quite a collection of caterpillars, slugs, roly polies, ants, beetles..you name it they found it! They also found a nest of just hatched spiders (about a million of them!). I took a picture but they grossed me out so I deleted it! Andrew enjoyed the only thing edible in our garden so far, regularly stopping to eat a leaf of Oregano! (We have tomatoes, celery, beets, tons of carrots, spinach, lettuce, and scallions too but the lack of sunshine and late snow made us get a late start this year)
Then we headed out to run errands. I had to mail Angelina her new Canon Rebel (I upgraded to a 40D last week)! , pick up my new Moby Wrap (I needed a second, I forgot mine on a trip to Burlington a couple weeks ago and it was miserable! Now I have one for the house and one in the car!)
Then to the health food co-op we belong to here on the island to pick up milk and cream (Peter bought an ice cream maker awhile back and we needed fresh cream to make some!). Then we came home and grilled some yummy homemade burgers
(ground beef, onion, garlic, seasoned salt, egg, bread crumbs and tons of parsley YUM)
The boys are currently watching End of the Spear to give me some blogging time! If you have not seen it, watch it!! I was so touched and forever changed by the TRUE story of these missionaries.
Tomorrow we'll be heading to Seattle to go to the zoo again and maybe a few other places. Peter discovered Wherigo on his Garmin GPS and they have games you can play by going places and completing tasks (kind of like geocaching) so we're excited to try it out! We tried letterboxing a few years ago, but when we found a box right under a bee hive and Peter and then baby Andrew got stung multiple times we kind of gave it up as a family hobby LOL
I'm excited to try again!
So hopefully if Abigail cooperates (and rides in her stroller at least a little) I'll have some pictures to share tomorrow!
