There is only one thing my husband loves more than grilling, and that is pizza. So when we found a recipe in a magazine last week for grilled flatbread pizza he was excited! I didnt get a chance to take pictures last time, but this time I made sure to!
1 1/4 c warm water
2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
Mix together and let sit 10 minutes until nice and foamy
Add in 1 teaspoon salt
3 cups unbleached flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
Knead then set in a lightly oiled bowl and cover for about 45 minutes (it should double in size)
Then divide into 4 portions and roll out into 10" pizzas.
Grill one side on medium until lightly browned (Isn't this crust gorgeous? )
Set on plate with uncooked side down and add 1 Tablespoon sauce, provolone cheese, and toppings of choice (pepperoni for us). Grill again until cheese is melted. Garnish with fresh oregano. Repeat for each pizza.
