1. greatest thing about being a mom:
seeing the amazing beauty of God's creation, looking into those perfect little eyes, seeing an amazing personality so unique
2. hardest thing about being a mom: not knowing how they will turn out, not knowing what I need to do for them, reminding myself that I can lean on the Lord He will show me how to be a good mother
seeing your own flaws mirrored back to you, so convicting!
3. how you find balance as a mom: I honestly struggle between being a great wife and a great mom, I am always leaning more on one side and slacking in the other, I have a hard time equally doing both well (in my eyes)
4. hobbies/interests: baking, making things pretty, stamping/cards, gardening, trying new recipes
5. Plug your at-home business:
hmm now nothing really
I was a photographer (AngelAlmeyda.com) but then I got pregnant and my heart isn't in it anymore, not to mention my husband isn't here to care for children!
In the last year I have sold washcloths I crocheted, I have made tutus.. I always have something going on..

7. Verses you've been thinking of lately:
Love..from a pure heart, a good conscious and a sincere faith
Lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence
women should...adorn themselves with good works...continue in faith, love holiness with self control
(my own paraphrase of 1 Timothy so far LOL)
Be adorned with a meek, gentle quiet spirit which is precious in the sight of God (again paraphrased from 1 Peter)
...with GOODWILL doing service TO THE LORD, not for men
8. What the Lord has been speaking to you about lately:
I dont need to do it all in my own strength, I need to stop being so hard headed and submit to Him instead of running myself ragged trying it do it myself, wait on Him, find what is important to Him and let the rest all go
9. Favorite color?
PINK
10. Tell me something you couldn't live w/o:
The one thing I wish I could live without, this computer :(
Seriously though, the Lord, I dont know how I survived before I knew Him....
11. Any advice to a new mom:
Follow your baby's cues and your God given instinct
12. What restores you as a mom:
Seeing fruit of my teaching and labor, comments like "Mom, can you make sure to give this recipe to my wife someday, I really liked dinner and hope she can make good dinners for me like you do" (seriously that was the best compliment I have ever gotten!), seeing His work in their lives as well as my own
13. Name some books that changed your life:
Stepping Heavenward, Created to Be His Helpmeet
14. Describe yourself in one word:
busy
15. Favorite things to do with your kiddos:
Go for a walk, discover nature, talk about God
16. Tell me about living in where you live:
gorgeous, beautiful beaches, forests to hike in, farms everywhere, I'm in love with it all
