Animal Girl's Life

• Nov. 14, 2008 - Hi!

G'day everyone!

Well you know how I said I had a lot of stuff to tell? Well, I will do a short version of all my stories now!

Starting with the oldest.

This day last week (on a Thursday in Australia) Mum bought me a really flashy new pink camera, the latest of its kind! WoW! I already have a digital camera, but this was even better! Well, I was all excited and flying on top of the world (I can get over excited with things!). But sadly, the camera did not work, so Mum will get me another one! WooHoo! I love all the new cameras!

the next one.....

On Sunday, (it was crazy), we were driving somewhere, and we saw all these people beside the road, on both sides, (like the Queen was coming or something) and suddenly, out in front of our car a little dog jumps........ on go the brakes!

I have to go now, I will finish the story soon!

The little dog runs back out to the middle of the road. Mum followed the dog all over the road with her hazard lights on! in the middle, driving the dog towards people waiting on the other side. Then, he turned around and headed the other way, narrowly missing a car. We swing 'round, and chase the dog, then he came running to the car, with his tail wagging, we were calling him, then just as it seemed e was about to jump in the car, he shot off down the middle of the road. Mum was great! (wether other people thought she was or not I don't know!) She stopped all the traffic from hitting the dog, I was finaly so put off that these people did not just run out on the road and rescue this dog, with Mums permision (and I did not wait for lectures) I jumped out of the car, I called the dog but he woud not come, I ran to the foot path, (I don't know what the people at the side of the road thought, a crazy girl running after a dog, and her mum who was a crazy driver trying to save this dog!) Mum had dissapered in her car, so I was running up the street, after this dog who was on the middle on the road then he headed straight at me, I saw in his eyes the fear he had, but then he shot down the other way (I was the only one up that end of the street that was trying to get the dog) where other people were, suddenly, my heart stopped, as I was in the middle of this small street that lead on to this main road where the chase was on, this stupid, ingnorent, idiot flew in his car straight at the dog, the dog was running for his life, people on the side of the road were trying to stop this guy, I was running as fast as my legs and lungs would carry me, then, the dog leapt to the side, JUST missing the tire, and the idiot shot off. Mum suddenly came in sight again able to stop the traffic, from hitting the dog, Mum said later "people might not stop for a dog, but they will at least stop for a car", suddenly Mum pulled up beside the road and I jumped in, then we pulled up only 5 seconds after at someones property with tall grass which came up to around my waist, I leapt out, as well as Mum and Jak, only one other  young guy was game enough to leap through the tall grass as well as me, we had the dog conered, then the dog tried to run away, the guy leapt in front, and the dog shot into his arms, he later said "it was like he knew me, the way he leapt into my arms". I was so happy this dog was safe!!!!! There was a lot of debating as to who would take the dog where! And no one considered what the other had done! Someone had called the Police, the pound (which luckily had not answered) and we offered to take him to the RSPCA, to hopefully take him to his owner! So after cancelling the Police coming, we took the dog to the RSPCA. And hopefully he will be given back to his owner! I don't like the RSPCA, but they are better then the pound. The guy who caught the dog, wanted to keep him, but someone else said no. I know what it is like to have an animal come straight at you like you were their only hope, and you just want to keep him.

I would also like to say this, I know what I wrote earlier about me on the road and Mums crazy driving and all that, I don't want ANYONE to think that my Mum put me in any danger what so ever, she would never put me in danger, and though I ran accross the road (the bit where 'my heart stopped') I know that was dangerous, but that was my fault for putting my self in danger.

well, better be going!

A bit about me, Animal Girl!

G'day everybody! I am an Aussie girl known as 'A.G'. I am 11 years old. I have had many other blogs and some web-sites, and I am doing my own wildlife show! I am 'animal crazy' and so that is why my nick name is Animal Girl (A.G). I have one dog (possibly two in the future) two cats, 4 guinea pigs, five chooks (possibly more in the future) two ducks, and we have cows that live next door and behind us! I hope that in the future all wild animals, native and foreign, will have a secure future, and that we will NEVER have to say bye to the dear beauties of the ocean, Whales. A.G
