Animal Girl's Life

• Jan. 25, 2009 - My Friend N.C.G

G’d a y! My friend N.C.G is staying at my house! Two days ago, my friend N.C.G found a blue tongue. I was hanging out washing, and she said she would go check for eggs in the shed, she said “there is an egg over here near the door, I will just go see if there are any more eggs......... ahhhhhh! There is a bluetongue in here!” I lost it, and dropped everything and ran in, and saw a BEUAT BONZA gorgeous bluetongue, I picked her up, and she had egg yoke drooling from her mouth!!! Eeuuuwwww. Then I did not know what to do, I ran inside and said to Mum “hey, we have an unwanted egg thief” and I brought in the adorable Blue tongue .N.C.G and I, took her over to the neighbours, but they weren’t home, that is where this adorable girl came from. So we took her back around. We then decided (after we had taken out the eggs) to put her back in the chook shed, facing the gap under our fence, leading into the neighbours yard. But she did not go in there, but turned away and ran under the chook shed floor! I named her Laurel. I have not seen her since. To tell the difference between a female and male bluetongue, is by the head. Boys (typically!) have big heads, and skinny bodies, usually girls laugh when I tell them this! But as soon as I tell them what girl bluetongues look like, they stop laughing. Girl bluetongues have small heads, but BIG FAT BODY’S! That is not very funny!

Yesterday, we saw a snake! Cool! N.C.G & I were outside with our family s, anyway, we saw a snake suddenly, everyone else jumped back, but I stayed and nearly went forward. My first thought was very idiotic, ‘Grab the snake!” but luckily I did not! He was a pale sort of colour, with a small head, I think he was either a brown snake, or a dugite, he was not very big. Boy he was awesome, then he flew under the chook shed! I hope to see him again! Mum tried to make lots of vibrations to scare him away, snakes are deaf so you can sing and they won’t hear you. You know how in those countries how the snakes ‘dance’ to the music (I hate that, they pull their fangs out and then snakes never see freedom again, or if they do, they can’t survive with out their fangs) well people say ‘its the vibrations from the music’ but it is not, I mean, seriously, it is not that loud the music they play, it is actually the movement of the instrument. That is how they ‘dance’, because notice how the people playing the instrument always move!

Today at church, I stuck cicada shells on people’s backs!!! I did it to some people, but a girl it away! It was rather annoying!! I stuck some on about five people’s backs I think, or maybe 4. N.C.G went home today.

A bit about me, Animal Girl!

G'day everybody! I am an Aussie girl known as 'A.G'. I am 11 years old. I have had many other blogs and some web-sites, and I am doing my own wildlife show! I am 'animal crazy' and so that is why my nick name is Animal Girl (A.G). I have one dog (possibly two in the future) two cats, 4 guinea pigs, five chooks (possibly more in the future) two ducks, and we have cows that live next door and behind us! I hope that in the future all wild animals, native and foreign, will have a secure future, and that we will NEVER have to say bye to the dear beauties of the ocean, Whales. A.G
