me and my guys

• May. 22, 2007 - The tag continues...

I was tagged by socalval!  When I am tagged I feel like I did in 5th grade gym class - "Yes!  I was not picked last for dodge ball."   Here are eight things you don't know about me:

1.  Like socalval, I can wiggle my ears.  This is a great party ice-breaker.

2. I won the MVP award in high school for the tennis team.  This was not due to talent but because the underclassmen liked how I would take them to Dairy Queen after practice.

3.  I am flat-footed.

4.  I abhor mice.  Those little rodents send me into hysteria.

5.  I attended college with the help of an unknown benefactor.  My family could not afford to send me and God moved someone to pay a large portion of 4 years of college!  WOW!!!

6.  I do not like liver and onions.  OK, I never have actually eaten this meal but just the thought of it is gross.

7.  The most horrible job I've ever had was being a substitute teacher.  Please don't ask me to elaborate.  Just mentioning the job conjures up feelings of fright.

8.  I do not enjoy watching TV.

Now, aren't those exciting?  Thanks for the tag socalval.  I think most of my friends have done this tag.  How  about miryclay, bethanyrae, Lori, farmgirl2, lovinlife, 2peter318, mythree3sons, and reelmomof4.  Tag!  You're it!

I completely agree with the whole mice thing. I don't even think I would know how to try to wiggle my ears. :)
I will see if I can think up another 8 things. I truly don't think I'm that interesting, but I'll try. :)

Hi Anissa!

Valarie had already tagged me. :o) You'll have to come check out my answers. You would hate it at our house, b/c the first winter we lived here, after we caught 20 mice, we lost count. We have a outside kitty now, and she helps out a lot. We didn't catch any inside our house this year. I can tell you this....you are very wise that you haven't tried liver and onions. I haven't actually ever tasted poopie, but that's what I imagine it would taste like. LOL!

Blessings,
Lori

I LOVE your eight things. I think we should join a club for ear wiggling... my kids are amazed that there is someone else out there who can do it, too!

Hey, thanks for the tag! Now I have something to write about besides cleaning--our house is so shiny and peaceful!

I'm sitting here trying to wiggle my ears. It's not a pretty sight. LOL. How on earth do you do that?

I'm sorry I haven't been around in a while and hadn't noticed that you tagged me until yesterday. I wrote up a new blog for it yesterday.

We have a cat that loves to kill mice and bring them to our house often. I've never seen a mouse around here at all, but she finds them in the woods or the field behind us I guess. yuck!

I did this tag too. I agree with you about mice. While living in DC one was in my silverware drawer. I opened it and IT RAN UP MY ARM!

I had to eat Liver and onions when I was a kid...I covered it with ketchup and swallowed it whole!

I have a new meme at my blog... You have to ASK to do it, so if you want to, come by and check it out.

It was fun reading your random facts. I can vouch for you that liver and onions are hateful. I have eaten them. Even ketchup does not get rid of the grainy, sandy feel of the liver as it slides down your throat and you try not to gag. Sorry.
I am a substitute teacher (very rarely, because it's hard to choose to go teach somebody else's kids and leave your own at home).
You can come on over and read my facts if you like.
I'm always on the lookout for a new friend. I'll add you to my list!
One more thing: Please somebody tell me! What does this "permanent link" thing mean? What happens if a person clicks on it?
