me and my guys

• Jul. 10, 2007 - We're almost done!!

Rejoice with me!  All of you moms who faithfully drag the coolers, chairs, and sunscreen to yet another sporting event; You who cheer when anyone gets a hit - team affiliation doesn't even matter.  You give up the evening news (not too hard).  You give up a trip to the air conditioned mall. Rejoice with me fellow moms - the baseball season is almost over.  I only have one boy still in tournaments.  The rest have lost and, alas, their season ended.  Of course my oldest does have one more game - the all star game, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I have baseball field fatigue.  I need my evenings free.  I don't want to spend 3 days trying to get grass/dirt stain out of white pants.  I WANT MY FREEDOM.  Ok.  I feel better now.  Thanks for letting me get it all out.  Someday I'll miss all of this.  Someday I'll wish that there was just one more game.  I'll wish that I had some little-guy baseball pants to wash.  Thanks God for these little dirty boys and thanks for the seasons - I couldn't take baseball year round.

How cute. I'm watching the MLB all-star game as I read this post. :) We don't have kids in baseball, but I remember going to my nephews soccer games. :)

You're too funny! I've never had to deal with ball games, but I have a friend who has similar cry outs. LOL. Mine are into motor sports, which mommy loves too.

Blessings,

You asked so here's the answer...
I have a Nikon 4500 which is not on the market anymore but they have another one similar to it now. My camera is split in two and can more almost 360 degrees... Go on Nikon.com and check the digital cameras and look for the one that a part move... Sorry I can't remember the number of it. It is grey color though. OR you could check on e-bay to see if you can find a 4500...

I'm not alone!!! Hurray. I just started giving up my Saturdays to Basketball camp with my 6 year old. Why does he have to be so good at sports! My oldest can care less... give him a computer and he is happy! Glad I stopped by to say hello. Have a great rest of the week.

You're a better mom than I am! After 2 seasons of T-ball, 1st and 2nd grade, I said, "No more summer sports! I need my summers......!" And that was the end of that. Of course, we're terribly busy in the fall, winter and spring with soccer, basketball, and soccer. But my summers are MINE!!!!!! (evil laugh)
