Life on the Rock

Turning over a new leaf

Posted in Family
Well, after a long and ill-health Christmas, we are starting the new year clean and fresh, literally. My SUV was in dire need of a cleansing so my dear husband made it a point to get it done for the New Year. These pictures show some of our hard labour.

The initial hose down to loosen the dirt

The job assignments given out!

Jonathan is off to a good start

Abigail needs further clarification of her duties :-)

And away she goes

Finally, the chief himself gets down to the nitty gritty

Now, never mind that you see no pics of me,  I did do my fair share, but someone had to capture the moment

And that is how you start the year fresh and clean!  We have made some decisions to try and keep the vehicles as clean as possible so we will see how well that works with snacking toddlers.  Well this was just one of our New Year's plans, how about you?

I have some of the "tiny" tots pics helping and they are always so precious to look at! How nice that you can wash the car wherever you're at. :-)
The last thing on my mind is washing the car, I'm afraid. *brrr*

I love a clean vehicle too. But, I live in Indiana and washing our van by ourselves right now is impossible. And the carwash is expensive, so I have to dream of a clean car in the spring. I enjoyed your post.

How cute! What a way to start the New Year!!!
Dirty cars a part of the scenery here in Indy, due to cold, snowy days. (-:
