My hubby was given a little tree by an ex co-worker and we are not sure what kind of tree it is. Take a look and tell me if it looks familiar.

Nov. 12, 2008 Prayer for President
I thought this was so timely and important I wanted to share it with all of you. The Bible admonishes us to pray for those in authority. So join in the thousands in obedience to our Leader, Jesus Christ and pray for our earthly leaders.

Oct. 28, 2008 Christians in Politics
All eyes are on the US now as election day draws closer. Some people are wondering which of the 'lesser evils' they would vote for. The bottom line is God raises up and puts down. Our position as christians is to pray and ask Him for wisdom in making the right choice. Do we think God is going to be surprised by who gets elected He is omniscient, remember?! And sometime He gives us what we want even though it may not be His sovereign will. Like when Israel wanted a king because all the other nations had one. He wanted them to see Him as their king but He didn't argue, He granted their desire but also gave them warnings as to what would happen as a reuslt of their choice.(1 Samuel 8)
The bottom line :remember, whoever gets in, we have a responsibility to pray for them.(for... "this is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."(1 Timothy 2:1-4) |
