I would say that I didn't believe this except my developmentally disabled daughter had a restraining order in fifth grade. Her crime? She liked a boy in her class and followed him around during recess. We had to go to court and everything... Had the parents even once called me to enlist my help in fixing this problem? No. They had called the school, but the first time I heard about it, was when the sheriff came to the door and served me! Dumb! Yes, part of the reason I homeschool.
