A Rankin County teacher is expected to turn herself in to Flowood police Thursday afternoon.
Dawn Jones faces two misdemeanor charges of child abuse and neglect on the job.
Jones is a special education teacher at Northwest Rankin Middle School.
In a probable cause hearing, a judge ruled there was enough evidence to charge Jones.
Flowood Police say after she turns herself in, Jones is to be released on her own recognizance until her trial.
