Nov. 17, 2006 - Fire Hall Anniversary
Ok, so back to the fire I was talking about...
Tomorrow - November 18th, 2006 will be the one year anniversary of the Campbell Team moving into the "Old Boys Firehall" here in Petrolia, Ontario.
We were looking to buy a new home, but just weren't finding the right place and then this came along.
This Heritage Designated Firehall, built in 1889 has given us inspiration as we dream of opening a gallery one day.
My dad joined me as we opened up our home for the Sarnia Artist Studio Tour this fall and we are currently teaching art lessons to about 20 kids from our homeschool group on Friday afternoons (just had lesson 3 of 5 today).
There is so much more we want to do with this space and we pray that we will be able to use it to honour God.
This is a firehall where we hope the fires will not be put out!
