Jul. 7, 2007 - Another Happy Day... or so
Our boys were invited, sort of last minute, to go to another family's house for a sleepover last night. They are a part of our homeschool group and they have 2 boys that are close in age to our boys.
What a delightful thing to have a night and day to spend with my very lovely and beautiful wife.
Last night we went out for ice cream at Ice Cream Galore and headed down to walk along the St. Clair River at the Bluewater Bridge.
This morning (after delivering the boys' papers, of course), we headed about an hour north along Lake_Huron to Bayfield. This is a lovely little village, where we knew we could relax and enjoy a tea and a coffee. We also went to one of my favourite little art galleries - TurnerGallery, where I always get inspired. We then went down to the beach and found a spot to take some pictures. We set up the tripod and took some of the two of us together and we each took some of the other also. Most of them were with the good old fashioned "film camera", so we'll have to wait to get those developed, but I did snap a couple with the digital. Then a leisurely drive back to pick up the boys and head to a BBQ.
I must say it was quite an excellent day... and spent with a wonderful woman...

was a bit of a mix ... I could just about make out a whisper of " you are beautiful " but I think I chose to hear " make sure you keep your back to him the whole time " much more loudly. Having pictures taken is always a trick. You desperately hope they turn out well, but dread the focus being on you while you sit, posing.
