Oct. 27, 2005 - Poem
Fireflies fade into the night,
Beyond the mountains bathed in moonlight.
A single bird flies overhead,
As all inhabitants go to bed.
The stars come out above,
And claim the sky for keeps,
A tiny cricket sings,
Before drifting off to sleep.
The grass ripples forlornly,
As a fox darts past,
And on this lonely Summer night,
All is quiet at last...
