Nov. 4, 2005 - Teh Poem
Ok, so in English the other day, we had to write a poem using three of these words : red bicycle, chicken noodle soup, umbrella, elephant, key, shadow.
It took me, like, the whole period, but I finally finished it! YAY!
The key in shadow gives way,
To something exotic, I daresay,
Finding the key will take you some time,
But I will explain it all in this rhyme.
First you must travel the paths all alone,
To a place shadows roam;
Where elves make their home.
You must search for the key,
You must find a bright place,
In this dark, dismal land,
Where the moon comes through lace.
In this lachrymose vale,
You must argue your case.
I'm sure you will search under oak, under maple,
Until you discover that it's really quite simple.
Just reach out in front, and unlock the lock,
Then you'll come on a land
Where umbrellas dance and elephants mock.
By indulging yourself,
You will soon realize,
That the key is not really and truly a key,
It's something more;
With no cost, but quite free.
For the key is imagination, you see.....
