8 reasons that I usually go to Youth Church with my teens...
|
Because I stayed home last night with a migraine my bleeding heart son Rocky brought home eight 2 week old chicks. Apparently one of the other youth leaders brough them as an illustration for the offering exhortation.
Does make you think... we find it so hard to give ten percent of our income but how much harder would it be to kill and offer a living animal to the Lord (yes I know they are different kinds of offerings)
Anyway, long story short my loving son found out that this chicks would not be able to go back to the flock and would have to be destroyed and brought them home knowing that his bleeding heart Momma would not turn them away.
I tried to post pics of them (they are cute) but I can't figure it out. Any one willing to help????
Speaking of anyone... I know you are out there and some of you have let me know IRL that you have been reading... NOW COMMENT ALREADY!!!!
Also some of the children have started their own blogs (some of them haven't posted yet) so go check them out...
Baby Girl
Bunny
Rocky
Sweet Petite
and the Princess
That is all for now, at least until I can figure out how to post pics...

I found you through TeamBettendorf's blog! :)
Right, pictures. :) Probably the easiest way to do it is to upload the pictures onto your computer from the digital camera, and then get an online account on a free image hoster like Photobucket (www.photobucket.com, but I won't vouch for the quality of the ads...), and then click the 'browse' button in your image hoster account and choose the image(s) that you want to upload.
Then the next page that comes up will have your pictures with URLs beneath them. Copy the URL of the picture you want to post, and when you are in your HSB (Homeschool Blogger) account and are writing the post, click the little 'image' button near the top right of the writing space, and paste your photo URL in there. Then you can resize it.
If you post pictures on other websites or forums, the procedure is a little different, as you might put [IMG] codes on the URL, or other HTML 'tags'. With photobucket anyway, these tags are already done for you. You don't need to worry about that for HSB, though!
Hope that helps a bit, and sorry for the 'longwinded-ness'!
