Jeremiah 29:11

Jun. 10, 2006 - Today ...

-my allergies have caused a crazy kinda headache! I'm trying to keep my head upright by writing for a while while a couple of loads of laundry finish up!

-R is off to work again on a Saturday ... roofing in 90 degree weather ... doesn't that sound delightful

-AJ's game was at 9am this morning ... thank the Lord that we don't have mid-day games this week. No diving catches this week, but a nice leaping catch!

-I need plan for Australia! Not a trip, but a camp.

-I'm looking for 4 people to be part of a book group and review a book called Secret of the Lord by Dannah Gresh ... I actually got 10 books free to start this group. Any takers?

-I desperately need to vacuum my dusty house ... maybe that's the culprit of the headache??

-We have nothing in the house but pb and j for supper. I don't think that will go over well with R ... even by the www.sixredheads.com standard I don't think I've got anything in the house for supper!

-Whatever we do for supper, I think a Grainger County tomato will have to be included ... maybe homemade salsa!

-And, it's time to spend a lazy afternoon under a tree somewhere with a good book ...

Today is a great day!

Jun. 11, 2006 - tomatoes

Posted by eclecticityTia
I'm wondering about those tomatoes....I got Grainer Cty. ones from the grocery store but they were still sort of mushy and didn't taste fresh. When I get them from Horn of Plenty, they are much better. Why is that? I thought they came from the same place? Maybe it's the variety of tomato.

We are having such beautiful weather here these days! Warm yes, but breezy on my front porch and in the shade. FL is already into the hundreds; I'm so thankful to live here!!

Is the book review thing like a book club were we meet in person? Or can I do it even if I move away and don't come into town but when necessary?

I'll come and vacuum for you but you'll have to get some salad in the fridge -- I don't do pbj sandwiches...
Your head hurts but you still make plans to use it. Poor head... needs some rest.
Be blessed,
Miss Meg
