Many thanks go out to Crossview Academy for their second package from Georgia.  This envelope contains some excellent reading.  It is full of material on Kolomoki Mounds State Historic Park.  These are Indian mounds in southwestern Georgia.  We might be driving to Florida at the end of the year.  I will have to look at stopping there on the way down.  Thank you, Crossview!

As for you daily dose of public school scandals...

I’m not certain how most dads would handle the situation, but if my daughter has a male teacher tell her that she has “Nice, perky t*ts,” I’ll punch him right in the mouth.   That is exactly what 44 year-old Osceola County Florida School District history teacher William Musto recently told a 13 year-old student.  The district had the decency to remove him from the classroom.  Yep, let’s send our children to public school!1

Florida must have some problems hiring moral teachers.  28-year-old Hillsborough County middle school teacher Stephanie Ragusa was arrested for having sex with a 12-year-old student.  Apparently, when this woman asked herself, “Where are all the good men?” she decided the answer was, “At the middle school!”2
