I'm reading a book called the Indian  in the Cupboard.  It is about a boy named Omri  who gets a cupboard for his birthday and a little plastic indian that his friend gave him.  Omri's mom gave  him a box of keys that would lock and unlock the cupboard (some keys can lock but can't unlock things).  He put the indian in the cupboard and locked it.  In the middle of the night he heard noises in it.  In the morning, he opened it and the indian was gone.  Omri looked around the cupboard and saw something on the bottom shelf,  not where Omri put it.  He saw the indian was crouching, but it was not supossed to look like that.   It had been standing.  Omri tried to pick the indian up, but the indian stabbed Omri in the finger.  He talked with the indian until his mom called him.  He wanted to tell her, but he was afraid she would think he was being silly, so he closed it and went to school.
