Biography: Found by a convoy in 34 BBY, inside an escape pod with nothing but the newborn inside. Master Windu, who was with the convoy, saw the infant to already have a strong connection to the force. He was trained by Master Yoda until the age of 12, when he was assigned early to Master Aayla Secura as her Padawan learner. He accompanied her in small missions, ones of little note in Jedi history. Shi'al excelled in his training and was praised for it. Master Secura trusted him with many things, including protection and retrieval missions. Shi'al met Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars, helping him cope with his dreams by deciphering them for him. He was to take the Trials in 18 BBY, but Order 66 prevented that. During a mission to Felucia with his master, a guard fired a blaster at him, which deflected and and killed the soldier. Fearing his master's life, he beheaded two more guards and stole a speeder to reach her group. When he arrived, he was too late. He impaled three troopers with the speeder before crushing the majority of them with force push to the ground and a thrown lightsaber. Aayla's words to him were garbled, but he made out that she was proud of him. Afterwards, he fled to Ando Prime and iced himself in one of their cyogenics units. He remains there unfrozen.
