Well, it is 6:45 am and in 20 minutes Gregory and I will be off to ACT testing. He is still pretty wiped out from the flu. His fever finally broke after 4 days early in the week, but he has a hacking cough and tires very quickly. I hope he will hold up long enough to get through the test. Murphy's Law would have predicted the coincident flu and critical test's bad timing.
Income taxes are done and that means arrangements for a teen car is on the horizon. John knows a guy at work who is going to be selling a pickup in a few weeks. It looks promising. John will use the pickup and Gregory will use the Honda. Melody is old enough for driver's ed, but I don't really think I am ready for her to have wheels until she is a good bit older. It is a scary thing when you reach the place where your children are driving. Oh, don't get me wrong, I think that they will be excellent drivers. It is just my imagination imagines the worst senarios. LOL.
Mom goes up to Little Rock on Monday to have the surgical staples removed. Staples, it just seems so barbaric to use staples. They look like something out of Frankenstien's Monster. Mom will go up with my Aunt Ruth - the one that I mentioned at Christmas time that ...
