THis kind of water painting is mess free and on a hot day getting wet is half the fun!!! There is so much teaching you can do with this. Kids can learn a lot about evaporation. It doesn't take long for them to learn that in the shade their art lasts longer, and that it  will evaporate faster in the sun. You can do a whole lesson just on that, but we were just having fun that day so we left it at that. While we were outside Becca found a cricket.
