I wanted a horse a lot when I was a teen. My dad said "No." and I knew not to argue with my dad. I prayed about it and he surprised me with a horse one day. She lived to be 31 years old.

A few years ago we surprised our daughter with a free lease pony on Christmas. It was one of the best things I've ever planned for Christmas. That too was an awesome answer to prayer and I think about 20 people helped me with what I called the "Secret Pony Project"! I had so much fun putting that together and praying to see how it would come together.

Since then we bought a bigger horse for me to ride with our daughter, then bought a bigger pony for our daughter and gave back the free lease pony. We shovel a lot of manure and have a lot of fun with the horses.

I really like the name of your blog and the photo of the bridle and bit. You are a good narrator and writer.

You are never too old to have a horse, maybe some day?
