American History: How Benjamin Franklin Came to Philadelphia...

To those who enjoy reading my narrations, I apologize. I was writing today's narration, and I had finished writing it out, but out of habit I clicked close, when I had not saved my progress. And as I really don't feel like writing all that all over again, I will not continue. |

Our New Wrist-Mounted Walkie-Talkies...
Posted in Daily bread
|
Recently we ordered two wristwatch style walkie-talkies from Vision Forum, and the wrist bands literally came apart. At first, it was just the tiny pin that attached the watch to the wristband, but then, the little buckle completely ripped through the rubber wristband. Now neither of the watches are usable, and the batteries are probably dead. If they ever come out with a better material for wristbands, I will buy that. But until then, I will simply keep my eyes open. |

My Math...
Posted in Daily bread
|
For the past week, I have been trying desperately to learn how to divide three digit numbers by two digit numbers. Mom says that I have to learn to do it without help from the MUS blocks, but I keep saying that is impossible. "Once you get it down, it'll be easy." she says, but I just can't believe that. |

My New Book
Posted in Daily bread
|
I am writing a new book, called Back to Earth. In it, a young man called Peter Stevenson invents a futuristic space-ship and heads off into space. Little does he know that he is plunging headlong into the craziest trip of his life. Sounds interesting eh? That's not all, but I don't want to be a story spoiler. |

My er... little kitten...
Posted in Daily bread
|
Remember My post "My kitten and I..."? Well, she's not a kitten anymore! She's a full-grown cat. She is much better at getting the "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!" point across . She has her "just-leave-me-alone" moments, her "just-hangin'-out" moments, and her "I'm-happy-so-I'm-going-to-purr-my-little-head-off" moments . I still think she is as cute as ever and I love her dearly. |

Today's Narration

Pilgrim's Progress Evangelist reproves Christian for following the counsel of Worldly Wiseman and trying to go to Mr. Legality to "be eased of his burden". And Christian turned back onto the path that Evangelist appointed for him to go to The Wicket-Gate with the lamp hanging on the top. |

Timez Attack
Posted in Daily bread
|
Mom found this game called Timez Attack.
I've played it and it's very neat. It teaches times tables through an
adventure-type form. You are a little green guy that walks around and
comes to all types of doors. When you walk up to one, a math problem
appears on it and the door shoots out little balls. These balls turn
into snails and every time you collect them, they give you the answer
to the problem. Once you collect them all, you throw them back at the
door giving you the answer again. You then type the answer to the
problem, which opens the door and an ogre comes out. He asks you math
problems you have already covered in the program. You are timed for
the answer and when you get one wrong or miss the time limit, he shoots
you with goo, which will knock you down. It is a fun game because it is an adventure towards learning your multiplication table. I hope you will enjoy the game as much as I have. |

The Two Birthday Surprises I Got Were...
Posted in Daily bread
...Very awsome. The one I explained
to everybody a few posts ago turned out to be in Tallahassee. It
was a Sugarland and Brad Paisley concert! What a wonderful father
I have! And the second was about three days after my birthday
when my dad had come back from a business meeting, and it was, of
all things for a very clumsy child, an Armitron watch! It
is much more complicated than my old watch and after 3 days of having
it I still can't figure out this crazy thing. It is very
frusterating. I am very grateful for it, and espesially proud of
the great parents that I have.Rayman |

And my dear dad has got a special b-day suprise in store for me.
So all I know is that we are going somewhere neat and probably have
never been to before. Aren't parents wonderful? SO many
suprises and even more presents each year! As Dash from The Incredibles would say," I love our family"

My Kitten and I...
Posted in Daily bread
|
We like to play. We've been good
friends ever since I stumbled upon her as I was riding my bike.
She's sort of my girl. She's got this teeny-weeny little meow
that you would expect from a newborn kitten. We have all come to
love her over time but it's unfortunate for mom and dad because with
our landlord and all we are not even suposed to have the 2 cats we do
have. As I say, we didn't find her, she found and adopted
us. Mom and dad have come to love her more as we will be moving
north to West Verginia, so once we do it will not matter. I'm so happy
that we can keep her. YAY!!

My phone got messed up! AAAAARRRRGGGGGG!!!!!
Posted in Daily bread
|
My mom just got a new phone for herself
and let me have her old Motorola, but the lady up at the counter said
that we would have to take the battery out or mine would interfere with
her phone's ability to send and recieve calls. And sure enough,
when we got home I went into my room to play a quick game of Tetris on
it, and I was about halfway through with my game when dad accidently
called mom and both our phones rang! Now how about that!
She wasen't kidding when she said that! I just earlier play my
very last game of Tetris about 7:00 am. And we just took
the battery out.
So much for that idea! |

Family Game Time
Posted in Daily bread
|
My family and I like doing things like
playing Scrabble and Monopoly and House Rules and BattleShip and
Fun-in-a-Box. This often ocurs in rare family game times.
It is mostly because my Dad works a lot at Sherwin-Williams. When
we get together for this we always play a long-lasting game like
Scrabble or Monopoly, and I always try, but rarely succeed, to propose
a toast. Because my dad works late most of the time, and we don't
like doing things like that without him, we wait until he is available
to play, which is usually around nine to eleven (if not twelve am) pm. |

I
would like to inform you that I like blogging here at HSB. I like
looking at everybody's blogs and seeing that they are still here.
I'm glad that I am at an age that my Mom will let me blog on this
website. AND I am glad that there are a lot of people that are blogging here.
