Thanks For The Prayers

Thank you all so much for your lovely prayers and comments.  It's nice to know I've got such good friends.  I don't think I'll be posting much here in the near future...  I'm just not sure what to say right now...  It's hard to lose a little sibling.  And though I never knew the baby, I love him/her just as much as all of the siblings that I have met and lived with.
Anyway, I will continue to comment on y'all's blogs.  I'll also be keeping up with e-mails and PMs.  If you'd like to e-mail me, but don't have my address, you can get it from my profile.

God Bless Y'all!

It Doesn't Get Any Easier...

Thank you all for your prayers.  However they came too late.  The baby is dead.  Momma is okay though.  The doctors say that the baby had a genetic defect, there was nothing that could have been done to save the baby.  And I'll never know if this baby is my brother or sister.  I won't even ever get to see him/her!
I've realized that it doesn't get any easier to lose a little sibling, if anything it gets worse because you aren't just feeling the pain of losing this one, you're also feeling the pain of losing the last one all over again.  At least with Samuel, I got to see him and hold him, but I won't get those things with this baby...  It's really hard...
Well, I'd appreciate it if y'all would pray for me and my family.  Especially Momma and Daddy.

I'm not sure if I'll be blogging much over the next few weeks, or even commenting on y'all's blogs...  I might, I just don't know...

God Bless Y'all

Pray Hard

Posted in Prayer Request

Daddy just left to take Momma to the hospital.  Before they left, Momma said that she thought we were gonna lose the baby.  Please, please pray that that doesn't happen.  Please pray for both the safety of the baby, and the safety of my mom.

Prayer Is Needed

Momma isn't doing well at all.  Right now she's on bed rest, but if things get any worse, we'll have to rush her to the hospital.  She and the baby could REALLY use some prayer!

Thanks Everyone.

Oh, and on July 3rd, there's going to be a huge day of prayer for our country for teens.  Teens around America are are going to fall to their knees and pray hard for our country.  It's called "United We Kneel"

Eh.

Do you ever think that you should put an entry up on your blog, but just kinda go, "Eh."  Right now I'm just feeling bored out of my mind.  I wanna go for a walk, but it's been too hot.  Well, actually right now the temperatures are falling REALLY rapidly because it's raining.  Anyway, I haven't even been able to figure out what kind of music I'm in the mood for.  Even though we just got two new albums to listen to!  I hope it quits raining soon...  Maybe I could go for a walk then?  I hate it when I feel bored with everything!
I'm not sure if this entry made sense, but I'm not in the mood to re read it:P  Well, I hope y'all aren't half as bored as me!

God Bless Y'all!

Random Things...

Posted in Randomness

I need to write an entry, but It's hard to think of what to say.  Momma has not been doing better:/  So she and the baby (Whom we've decided to call Sprout for now since we know nothing about him/her.) could still use some prayer.  And thank you ALL sooooooo much for praying!  It is much appreciated.

I hope you all had a good Fathers Day.  We didn't do anything fancy.  We just gave Daddy a book he's been wanting, "Sinner," by Ted Dekker, an couple T-shirts and a york peppermint patty.  And I made him a couple chocolate marbled cheesecakes.  Well, they were supposed to be marbled anyway...  I guess I'm just not very good at marbling...:P  It tasted good though:)

I read three different websites to keep up with my favorite band, Kutless.  So I know that they are busy in the studio, (Which is actually a house in Oregon.) working on their second worship album!  From what I hear, it's going to have a more rocking edge than Strong Tower though.  I'm actually glad.  Strong Tower was almost too "classic worship album."  Their working to make this one more unique.

Oh, and I updated my photography blog!  Go check it out.

God Bless Y'all!

Please Pray

Momma has been having some very high blood pressure.  Scary high at times.  I've already lost a brother, I don't want to lose this baby or my mom, so please keep Momma and the baby in your prayers.

WOW! How Amazing!

This past Wednesday was probably the most exciting Wednesday I've ever experienced!
I got up Wednesday morning and found out that Tech was having an asthma attack, so he couldn't do the weed eating.  It needed to get done because my grandparents were coming later that day.  Daddy was away on a business trip and Mommy was feeling sick.  Not that that was much of a surprise, Momma has been feeling sick for quite some time.  And she's not gonna quit feeling sick anytime soon either.
So, I ended up being taught home to use the weed eater and did it for him.  It was harder than I thought!  I was thankful that it was a cloudy day.  I'd hate to try doing it on a sunny day...
Then I went inside and had did a few last minute things before my grandparents arrived and had lunch.  After lunch I got back to the last minute things, but then found out that I needed to go out with Momma to get a few things.  So, away we went, even though Momma was feeling sick.  And I had a feeling that I knew why she felt so horrible.  We talked about the possibility on the way, and I found out that she'd discussed the same idea with Daddy.
When we got home, we knew that Grandma and Papaw could get here any time.  We'd been home only a little while when Momma came out and said that she'd just taken the test and is pregnant!  I was shocked!  And yet, I'd already been suspecting it for about a month.  And the worst part was that Daddy was out of town!  Momma had to call him to tell him.
Shortly after that, my grandparents arrived!  It was so fun!  And it proved to be rather challenging to get Grandma into the house because of her wheelchair.  We had dinner with them and showed them all kinds of things.  And a HUGE storm blew through.  80 mph winds and heavy, heavy, heavy rainfall!  Lots of thunder and lightning too.  Lightning is so cool:)  We were under a tornado warning and a funnel cloud was spotted heading in our direction!  It never touched ground though.  The lights kept flickering, but never went out.  I stepped out onto the front porch to take pictures.  It was crazy!  If I'd left the shelter of the porch, the storm could of almost knocked me down.  It was kind creepy and really cool out there.  After the storm, I saw the most beautiful sunset I've EVER seen.  I took pictures:)  I also ran around getting downed branches off of the road.  We could still hear thunder and see some very impressive lightning.  As you can most likely tell, I love storms.
We helped Grandma and Papaw check into a hotel.  Then we went home to rest from the events of the day.  However, Tech was still having trouble with his asthma, so Momma and I ran out some time near eleven thirty to get him an inhaler.  It was a crazy day.  And I was soooooo tired, but very happy too.  God is so great.  I got to spend time with my grandparents and I'm expecting to get a little brother or sister in January!
The next day we went shopping with Grandma and Papaw and had a great time.  It was sad that Grandma and Papaw had to leave early that afternoon, but it was so fun having them here.

I Have Vanished From The Blogworld.

Or so it would seem.  I haven't really been around...  I've just been busy.  And I think that excuse is wearing kinda thin...  But it is true.  It seems like if something unexpected happens, more unexpected things must follow.  I'll try to get back to y'all soon, leave comments on your blogs and reply to the ones you gave me.
Alright, we keep having troubles with our van.  (Okay, so that's not so unexpected....  Just really bad.)  One of the times it broke down, it turned out to be a good thing because it got my dad to fix the car.  Now the car is running and the van is running part time.  Another time it broke down was at the library and we ended up walking home in the heat!  And it was a nearly two mile walk!  Ugh.  It was too hot for such a long walk.  Thankfully there was a park to stop at along the way.
I still need a root canal. Apparently, it it is harder than I thought to find a dentist who will do this cheep and be and take me.  "Sigh."  I'll try to wait patiently, but I'm worried about my tooth.  I don't want to lose it.  And thanks again for all of your prayers.
My grandparents are coming to visit tomorrow!  They don't come very often, so this is kind of exciting.  They've only seen little Wildchild once, and that was when he was born.  We've been busy getting ready for them.
So, as y'all can see, life never ceases to hold its surprises.
I've also been so kindly awarded by Willow!

Thanks, Willow!
I'll award: REBELXTi, Dreamwalker, MBF, Nachoaveragegirl, JessLBee, EowynDernhelm and Anna93.

Are There Any Original Titles Left?

Okay, it would seem that things just keep getting more and more complicated.  It turns out that a root canal was more expensive than we thought one would be:(  So, I haven't had it yet...  My dad has signed us up for something that will hopefully lead to a root canal under half price!  I just hope that I get a good dentist!  *sigh*  I really wish that I didn't need one, or at least could wait 'til we've gotten caught up on money again.  I hate this economy!
Well, just keep praying.
This morning Momma and I went out garage saling.  She needed a whole summer wardrobe.  Well she got one!  We found her all kinds of cute clothes even shoes and a dress!  And we got it all for under 20$!  We got some other things too, like a big picture frame, and some clothing for other people in the family.  (Including myself)  It was a great day for garage saling!  Now the only thing I want is a pair of boots.  It's just so hard to find a nice pair for my huge feet.  Maybe a Kutless t-shirt too, but that's gonna be even harder to find...

I got tagged again!  This time by Nachoaveragegirl!  You might wanna keep her in your prayers too.  Visit her blog for details.
Only I'm not gonna do the tag 'cause I lost it all after I finished writing it:(  That's SOOOOOOO annoying!

God Bless Y'all!

Hmm.... I'm Running Out Of Titles:/

I just want y'all to know that I feel fine.  I don't yet have a set appointment for my root canal.  Most likely I'll have it tomorrow or Wednesday though.  Did you know, that if I didn't have a root canal, I'd lose my tooth?  Yikes!  Anyway, the more I think of the root canal, the less I worry.  I'd rather be put through pain for a little while than lose a tooth.  It's not like it'd grow back!  I do feel fine right now though.  The medication really has helped.  Even if Daddy calls it poison.  (He's allergic to penicillin)  I think the infection I had is gone though.
Alright, I stole this tag from my lovely "sister," Zel!  I thought the first question was weird.  That's why I stole it:)

1.  You walk into a shoe store, and ask the clerk for some new shoes, for free.  What does the clerk say next? You make up the answer.  "Get outta here!  Who do you think you are?  If you want shoes, by 'em yourself!"

2.  Do you like scrapbooking?  Not really...  My mom likes it, but I find it sooo time consuming.  And it gets a little tedious.

3.  Do you like roly-polys?  No!

4.  Do you like/approve of Bratz dolls?  No way!  I've always hated them as much as I've always hated Barbies!  Besides, Bratz have an awful name and they're feet come off.  Not to mention they're REALLY ugly.  What's to like about them?  Then again, I never liked fashoin dolls anyway...

5.  Do you prefer colored or white kleenexs?  White.  Why ask?

6.  List your pets and their names.  Well, I have a black cat named Sasha and my dad has a black dog named Remington.

7.  Close your eyes, turn around, and stick out your hand.  What is the first thing you touch?  (if you have to walk a ways to touch something, that's okay.)  The Incredible Hulk!  Ahhh!  No really, I did feel the Hulk!  He's my little brother!  *Grins*

8.  Are you learning a foreign language, and if so, what is it?  No, I'm not learning one right now.

9.  Have you ever played a computer game straight through the highest level in one sitting?  Nope!  And I don't plan on ever doing it either!

10.  What's your general opinion of tags?  Did you like this one?  I usually find them annoying because they all have the same questions!  Ugh!  However, I found this one amusing.  If you tag me, tag me with a tag that isn't too long or boring.

Anyway, I tag anyone who doesn't have a toothache!

God Bless Y'all!

Another Update On My Toothach...

First of all:  Thank you all SOOOOOOO much for your prayers!  I actually haven't been in as much pain the past two days.  (Perhaps the penicillin is helping?  Prayers are definitely helping too!)  My gums and face aren't nearly so swollen either.  All of this is really good news!  However, it does still hurt some, I've been abnormally tired and a couple of my teeth are still loose:(  I hope the root canal helps!
I still don't want a root canal.  My parents will probably call for an appointment Tuesday.  I'm rather nervous...  I've never had surgery before!  Oh well.  I hear the dentist I'm getting is a really good one!  That doesn't make me any less nervous though...  *Sigh*

God Bless Y'all!

Noooooooo!

Posted in EEK!

You know it's a bad thing, when the dentist is a little puzzled about what's going on in your mouth.  If I remember right, he said something about me having a nerve dying.  Ugh!  He's just not sure what caused it.  Usually this kind of thing is caused by a cavity, but I don't have a cavity there.  He thought it may have been caused by a blow to my mouth years ago.  He said it's not uncommon for it to take years for that kind of thing to take affect.  *Sigh*  Anyway, however this happened, it doesn't change the fact that I'm gonna need a root canal!  I hear that they're very painful!  I don't want a root canal!  Although, if it ends the endless pain I'm in now, I guess it's a good thing.  Also, I'd hate to lose a tooth!  Anyway, keep praying!

God Bless Y'all!

Update

Well, I'm going to the dentist soon...  I can't say I'm very excited.  And my parents are really, really worried.  Momma is afraid that I'm gonna need a root canal!  Yikes!  I REALLY don't want one!  I hear that they REALLY hurt.  Though nothing is set in stone.  I might not need it.  I'm really hoping that it's just something very simple, and easy to fix.
Well, I could still use some prayer, so, please keep praying!

God Bless Y'all!

Ugh!

Posted in Prayer Request

I have a toothache...  Or perhaps a "tooth-agony."  I've been taking as much advil as I can as often as I can.  Unfortunately, it's not helping much...  And right now, we really can't afford a dentist.  Though, my dad is looking into some way of getting me to one.  He's such a good father!  So, I could really, really, really use some prayer.  Cause it HURTS!

God Bless Y'all!

One of My Cousins is Now Married!

Posted in Special Events

A few days ago, I went to the wedding of one of my closest cousins.  She made a lovely bride.  I liked how simple it all was.  I've never liked overblown weddings.
I was excited about the wedding, though I wasn't sure what exactly to expect, I hadn't been to a wedding since I was two.  As it turned out, it was lots of fun.  I was in charge of taking pictures during the wedding.  It all actually went very smoothly, in spite of the fact that the ring bearer was only a baby a few months old and that the groom got shy about kissing my cousin in front of a crowd!  I can't blame him though, I think I'd be shy about it too.
The reception was nice too, though, set up in a room that looked like it was ready to undergo renovation.  There was a small stage and behind that, a huge TV that they were showing pictures of the bride and groom when the were children on, dark walls and carpet, a few tables and chairs, near the middle of the room were some couches and in one corner were pool, foosball and air hockey tables.
A few minutes after entering the room, all un-married men (Including little boys) were called over to the front of the room to stand in front of the stage.  It was time to catch the garter.  They had to be called over at least three times before they all showed up.  None of these young men wanted to catch it.  It landed on the ground in front of them.  They stared at it for a few seconds before the groomsman came over and sheepishly picked it up.  I thought it was funny.
Then it was the ladies turn.  We only had to called over once.  All we had to catch was a bouquet.  I took a good place in the front, right behind my cousin.  I'm not a very good catch, but I was determined.  I'd always secretly wanted to catch a bouquet.  Now was my chance.  My cousin threw it, I saw it flying rather high a little to my right and I reached out my hand and caught it!  Someone said something about it being a good catch and someone else said "Now all the purple flowers are on the floor!"  And t was true, the floor was covered in little purple flower petals and the bouquet was looking rather mangled.  Oh well, at least I caught it!   I loved the look on my dad's face!  LOL!  And when I got close enough, my dad said something along the lines of, "No. no!  You're too young, you still have quite a few few years before you get married!"  All I did was smile and ask what I was supposed to do with the bouquet.  I was told to keep and put it with our stuff if I wanted to.  I wanted to, I couldn't see myself running around with a mangled bouquet for the rest of the reception.
My brothers and a couple of teenagers went over to the air hockey, foosball and pool tables and only came out of that area if they wanted food.  I got the feeling that they had no idea what to do with themselves.
I spent the rest of the reception taking pictures, eating grapes, nuts and a little cake and cheese, (They had sugar free stuff there!  I was very glad of that.) and talking with various people.  Towards the end, I joined my brothers and the two other teenagers and watched a pathetic game of pool, then dominated air hockey.  I hadn't even ever played air hockey before, so I was surprised to win every game I played.
The wedding was fun, and now I know why people seem to enjoy them so much.  It also got me thinking about my future and my future wedding.  What will I do for my wedding when it comes my time to get married?

God Bless Y'all!

I'm Still Alive!

First of all.  Thank You All SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much For Praying!  It was much appreciated.  This is not the kind of thing that just fixes itself in a few days, so we still could use some prayer.  And to top everything off, we've been getting sick.:/  And Flash got stung by a bee.  Ouch!
Sorry that I haven't been on here much, times have been hard and I've been busy writing stories and trying to find a name for myself to use on Lady Authoresses.  I already have so many names.  Oh, and I've also been reading Inkspell!  I found a copy for a dollar!  Yeah!
I can't say as much has happened lately.  So there really isn't anything to post about:(  I just thought I'd update and let y'all know that I am indeed still alive.

God Bless Y'all!

I Vanished, But You Probably Didn't Notice...

Posted in Randomness

I've been busy, I'm not the only one who uses this computer, I have a life and the internet went out a couple times...  All good reasons not to really be around.  And, I haven't had a clue what to write about...  I still don't.  But I needed to put something up, so here I am!  Writing about nothing, and boring you all to tears, and boring myself.  Well, actually I'm not bored.  This is a LOT better than watching Larry Boy with my baby brother.  It's not that Larry Boy isn't funny, it's just that Wildchild has watched it well over a thousand times, and I'm a little tired of it.  Wait a minute!  I'm ranting!  I've never done that before!  Am I running a fever?  Now I'm worried...
I'll try and tell you a little about what I've been doing.  I've been running around bookstores and staring at shelves wishing that Inkspell and Inkdeath would appear there, but I haven't had any luck.  And I've been running around the field behind our house with a camera in the evenings.  I've goten some great pictures, but if you've read my photography blog, you'd find out that I'm waiting on my dad to help my mom get pictures onto her Flikr account.  Yesterday I went out into the field right before a storm hit and got some really awesome pictures!
Well, that's all I can think of for now.  Wait!  Tomorrow is my mom's birthday!  Yay!  Happy Birthday, Momma!  Oh yeah, and I joined a group called "Lady Authoresses!"

God Bless Y'all!

You Must Read Inkheart!

There's really nothing going on, but I needed to put up something new.  Now, let's see...  What to post about?  Well, since nothing is going on, I'll write aboult this really good book that I just read.  It's one of the best books I've EVER read!  Maybe even the best book I've ever read!  Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.  It's the first book in a trilogy.  The next two books are Inkspell and Inkdeath.  I've been looking for copies of those, but so far no luck.  It's a pretty recent trilogy...  The last having come out only last fall...  And we get almost all our books from used book stores, so I'm sure I'm going to have a hard time finding them:(  After reading the first book, I'm not sure if anyone will be willing to give up thier copies.  I REALLY wanna read the next two books!
Anyway, if you want to know a bit about the book, I'll tell you a bit.  Though, the book is pretty complicated, I won't be able to say much.
What would happen if there were some people who could read things out of books when reading aloud?  They could read anything out of books, but the couldn't control what came out of the book.  And if the read something out, something from this world goes in.  One night a man is reading aloud to his wife, when suddenly three men from the book apear in his living room and his wife and two cats dissipear into the book!  That's the premise for this story.  Now, for fear of giving away too much, I won't tell you anymore except the names of the main characters.

There's the guy who can things in and out of book.  His name is Mortimer, his daughter calls him Mo and some call him Silvertongue.
There's Mortimer's twelve-year-old daughter, Meggie.
Meggie's great aunt, Elinor.
And Dustfinger.

I think about the only negative thing I can say about this book is that therte is a little bad language in it, other than that, the book is fantastic.  You should read Inkheart too:)  Youy'll love it, trust me!

God Bless Y'all!
