Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been writing. I need to be more commited to my blog. I spend way more time working on my book and writing notes on Facebook and it has taken time away from blogging. Anyways, I am doing this thing, helping to promote Ted Dekkers new book in the Circle Trilogy, GREEN. I have to recruit people and get them to sign up for Forest Guard. The more people I recruit, the bigger chance I have of winning prizes and a chance to meet and have lunch with Ted Dekker. Because of the number of people I have already recruited, and the number of points I've earned, I will already have my name printed in Ted's new book. But I still need more recruits! This is how you can help: 1. Go to http://teddekker.com/readgreen 2. Enter your Name, Email, ZIP Code, and print my number (7197) in the box. 3. Press the button that says, "Submit Registration." IMPORTANT!!! (IF YOU DO SIGN UP, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENTERED MY NUMBER-7197-IN THE BOX! IF YOU HAVEN'T, I WILL GET NO POINTS.) Website: http://teddekker.com/readgreen My number: 7197 Remember... SEVEN-ONE-NINE-SEVEN Thanks to everyone who has already signed up! =] And also, if you have never read a Ted Dekker book, you should totally check him out! His books are very much worth reading. I have read quite a few books by quite a few authors, and Ted Dekker is by far my favorite! I haven't read it yet, but I've heard that the Circle Trilogy is incredible! I am really looking forward to reading it. He just wrote a new book as another part of the Circle Series called Green. It comes out this September! Thanks to all! -Brit

I Will Praise You In This Storm

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't written in a long time. I wrote this last night after the storm. I know this is a long note. I started writing and got carried away. I really encourage you guys to read this even though it is long. Storms happen. Pain comes and pain goes. Somewhere in this world that we live in, there is a fight that is happening between good and evil, light and darkness. Right now, this very second, as you read these words, bullets are flying, soldiers in other countrys are dying while trying to protect your freedom. Somewhere, light is fighting against darkness, and the light is pressing through. We know that in movies, in books that we read, that the light always wins against the darkness in the end, even though it sometimes seems impossible. But we also learn in life that real life isn't always like a movie. When light doesn't always seem to break the darkness, it feels like your storm will never end. That's why I am writing this note right now. To every broken heart, to every person who feels like they are stuck in a storm that is never ending, hopefully you will find that light waits just on the other side of your storm. Don't dwell in the storm. This is to every person who has stood in the midst of storms and told them to be still and go away, but they never seem to leave. They just come back with louder bursts of thunder, brighter flashes of lightning, and more anger and darkness than before. This note is for you. Tonight, I stood in the small, lonely field behind Cathedral of Praise, staring at the sky and admiring Gods creation. I knew there was a storm coming so I decided to go outside and see it for myself. Over the line of trees, I could see some dark clouds and a few flashes of lightning every once in a while. Straight above me were beautiful, pink and blue skies. Standing beneath such a beautiful sky, it is hard to believe that within just a couple of minutes, it will could be gone and will soon be replaced by the dark storm clouds and flashes of lightning that just moments ago seemed so far away. I stood as I watched the darkness slowly move from one side of the field to the other. It was such a beautiful sight. It was almost as if I were watching the ultimate battle in the sky between good and evil. Soon, there was a line straight above in the sky, dividing the light from the darkness. Even though the darkness was pushing the light away, the light still remained beautiful. Within 5 more minutes, the entire field was covered in darkness. The thunder in the clouds like crashing waves, and flashes of lighning like cameras flashing to give light to a dark photograph. I could just imagine the storm saying, "Look at me. Look at what I've done! I have taken over your light and now I am all that you can look up to. I am your new sky! I am darkness, and I have defeated the light." I stood under the dark cloud and realized... this is the way that my life is sometimes. The way I feel right now. Not long ago, I could look into the clouds and see the most beautiful blue skies. Now all that I see is the darkness. How can I look into the light when all that is in my life is darkness? This is my point... Sometimes, we look up into our skies, saying, "There is no light. My life, my clouds are filled with darkness and there is not a hint of light in any direction." Sometimes we stand and all we see is darkness over us. But what we don't see, is that the storm is small and the light is just on the other side. The only reason you are not seeing any light is because the darkness is separating you from that light. The light has never left. You have only allowed the tiny storms separate you from your beautiful skies and from the light in your life. The light is still much bigger than the darkness. The only reason you are not seeing any light right now, is because you are letting the darkness keep you from it. The light is still right there, we just have to press through the storm to find it. It is where you stand that determines the light over your life or the darkness. When all you see is darkness, will you still choose to believe in the light? Will you still choose to believe that the light is just on the other side? I have been going through some hard things lately with relationships, feeling like I have lost some of the people who were the closest to me and the people who meant so much. And I have spent too much time thinking, "Where is the light in this? I used to have light! Everything was perfect and there wasn't a storm in sight. Now all that I can see overhead is darkness... I just want my light back. I want to feel the sun shine on me again." I've been spending too much time feeling like my storm would never go away, when the light that I have been looking for is just beyond the darkness that I have allowed to step in my way. If I continue to remain under that storm, how will I ever see the light that I long to see again? Even when you can't see the light, and all that you can see are the storms that get in your way, will you continue to believe in the light? Will you continue to press through the darkness and keep holding on to what you know is on the other side of those storms? Will you have the faith to press through and get to what you need? That light can shine again. Just let it. Watch as the rays of light pierce through the darkness. Keep looking for the light, and the storms will have no choice but to leave, and they will not be able to remain over your life. I just want you guys to listen to this song and watch this video, and even though you are going through things in your life, learn to praise God in the storm. Because He is waiting on the other side to take your hand and hold you close, so no storm can ever separate the two of you again. So learn to praise Him in this storm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji2rLXr3cEU -Brit

Why Cell Phones Should Be Waterproof

There is something that happens to all of us. Something that can sometimes be very tragic. Lets say someone gets their brand new phone. Someone named... Tom. So Tom goes to a pool party. And at this pool party, his phone somehow gets wet. Now this is very sad and it's something that the world has to face every single day. No matter where you are, and no matter what you are doing, there is always the possibility that your phone, at any time, and in any place, could get wet. Somewhere, eventually, at one time in your life, your phone will get some form of precipitation on it, whether you like it or not. And in a world like this, there is nothing you can do about it. Nothing. I only had my phone for a week before I dropped it in a glass of water. Thankfully, it still works. But when that happened, I had a brainstorm! What if phones were waterproof? What if you could go swimming, or drop your phone in just about any liquid, and it would still work. This isn't just a good idea because phones will last longer, but for many other reasons as well. Here are just a few of them. 1. People would begin to text while they were in the shower. 2. Divers and people who work underwater would buy them. 3. People could go to the beach and not have to worry about their phones getting wet. 4. Water park employees would enjoy their jobs so much more if they could use their phones. 5. My life, and the lives of so many other people, would be so much easier if there was such thing as a water proof phone. Now lets review. #1. If people were able to text in the shower or bath, that means they would want to spend more time in the shower or bath. (whichever they prefer.) Not only does that mean that the world would be a cleaner place, but it also means that the water companies would be making a lot more money. 2. In Hawaii there are people who go diving every day, and some people who work and spend most of their lives underwater. My dad used to go diving 3 times a week and spend hours at a time under water, with no way for him to communicate with his family at home. There are so many divers that would buy a product amazing as this. 3. So many phones get ruined at the beach. Even if you are far away from the water, there are times when huge waves will wash up over the beach and steal peoples flip-flops and things. A lot of the time, this also destroys phones. 4. Water parks wouldn't have to try as hard to get people to sit in the sun and get sunburned all day against their will. Even Sea World trainers spend a lot of their time in the water. 5. The world would be a better place. =] So those are my reasons on why there should be waterproof cell phones. =D Thanks for reading! Be sure to comment!

The Beginning of My Great Adventure

It was six days before my 13th birthday. We had just moved to Maui to work at a church there and help start the Supernatural School of Ministry. My dad had gotten a job as a underwater videographer on a diving boat that went out to a little island about 3 miles off shore of Maui that was called Molokini. We had just moved there about a month and a half ago and my parents were still trying to figure out exactly what we were supposed to be doing there. As a 12 year old boy I was living the dream. Every day I felt like I woke up in Heaven and went to bed there. I had never before seen such beautiful places and experienced so many amazing things. If you have ever seen the beginning of the movie Nim's Island you would know how I felt. One day we decided that we were going to go out on the boat with my dad. We would go out with him about once or twice a week and would see and experience such amazing things. This particular day was different. I had already been sleeping in my swimsuit and was ready go the next morning. I just knew that something different was going to happen that day. I got up at about 5 that morning and was ready to go. We all got into the car at about 5:30 and drove down to the harbor. We got there just in time to see the sun rise over Haleakala. It was truly one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. If there is a sunrise in heaven, I know what it looks like. We all got on the boat and left at about 7:00am with me and about ten or twelve other people that I didn't know. I stood at the front of the boat and imagined myself flying over the water. Looking down I could see the ocean floor slowly making it's way farther and farther away as the boat would move farther away from shore. There is no better way to start the morning than to be sitting on the front of a boat feeling the wind on your face and the spray off the ocean every time the front of the boat would come up and then sink back into the water. It was an amazing day. They hadn't been seeing very many whales lately and I was wanting to see one. I heard one of the people inside the boat ask one of the divers if they thought that they would see any whales that day. He said that he didn't think so because they haven't seen any in a while and then went back on to working. I walked back to the front of the boat and sat down with my feet hanging over the edge. I sat there and remember saying, "God, if you let just one whale come right up here near where I am. Or even just let me see one whale today, I will know that you have called me to do what you want me to do, and I will never doubt you again." I waited... Nothing happened. About three or four minutes later, when I was least expecting it, I leaned back with my feet hanging over the front of the boat and I just said, "I love you Jesus." Suddenly I heard some one scream, "Whale! There is a whale!" I looked straight out in front of the boat and saw a whale in the water. I stood up and looked out into the ocean. Two whales were swimming together in the water. I realized that God was there and felt tears start coming to my eyes. I had never seen or experienced anything like that before. Seconds later I saw another whale to the left of the boat. And another to the right. As I was standing there looking off into the distance, another whale came literally just feet away from where I was standing like it was swimming along the side of the boat. Whales started coming out of nowhere. First there were two, then three, then four. There were suddenly so many whales that they had to stop the boat so they wouldn't run into one. I stood on the front of the boat talking to God while whales were coming out of the water all around me. I sat there smiling as tears would slowly make their way down my face. I had realized how loved I was. And I had never felt anything like that before. I will never forget that day. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever experienced. And there is only better yet to come. I went to bed that night thinking back on my day. The moment that I would never forget. And that was only the beginning of a whole new adventure. In that year I saw people healed, dead men raised, and I had experienced the Kingdom of God in my life for the first time. And that was only the beginning. -Britain This is a video of that day. You can only imagine how I felt.=] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDmTepZQQdo

Today has been pretty cool so far. I woke up, got on Facebook, ate some crepes that my dad made. They were amazing!!! Then my parents decided to go somewhere so they left me home alone. Then I watched spongebob while I was on Facebook. After a while I got bored of Facebook and decided to run to church for RA (Revivalist Academy). I was supposed to get a ride with the Shraeders but felt like running. So I got my Ipod and ran to church. Got there, had worship, watched a DVD, and did the normal RA stuff. Quite fun! =] After RA we went to the mall to go pray for people which I also enjoyed. Now I am sitting in my grandparents trailer drinking my strawberry/banana smoothie that I got from the mall! =D Anyways that's about it! =] MUFFINS!!!!!!! =D

Hello everybody! My name is Britain (yes I know it's a weird name... It's actually awesome!) I live in Austin Texas right now and my life is pretty crazy. I used to live in Hawaii. I lived every kids dream. We went there to work with a church and start the Maui Supernatural School of Ministry. My dad was also working there as an underwater videographer and would go diving two or three times a week filming sharks, whales, and all kind of cool and crazy stuff. He even filmed some stuff for Discovery Channel! =D So if you ever see any video of whales underwater, chances are my dad was probably behind that camera! Yeah... He's pretty cool. =] Hahaha Anyways, I love my life. =]

Hey everybody! I haven't used this blog in FOREVER!!! I just decided that I needed to start using it again.
I'm a different person now so the things I post are going to be a lot different. I have changed inside and out.
This is the blog of a revivalist now!
Just to let you in on what has been going on this last year, here are some cool healings and thing that I have seen recently. Check it out! I think you will enjoy it. =]

I have been seeing tons of people getting healed and miracles happening all the time, so I decided that I am going to write a note about all the awesome things that are going on! :)
Well, if I started from the beginning, this note would never end. So I'm starting with camp.

You don't have to read this...BUT YOU SHOULD!!!!!!!!!!

The Kingdom of God: "The eternal sovereignty or kingly rule of God, manifested in it's acceptance by man on Earth and the hope for the future."

MY EYES:
We were having one of the greatest worship services I have experienced EVER led by John Vasquez.
I was up front, I had my eyes closed and I felt someone hit me in the chest really hard!
Briggs was standing next to me, and I thought that he had hit me.
But when I opened my eyes he had his eyes closed with his hands raised in the air.
It was weird.
It was the first time I had been punched in the chest by somebody I couldn't even SEE!
Then I felt somebody put their hand on by back really hard, and then hit me in the chest again.
And when I turned around there was nobody there.
Well it was really cool.
After worship I went and sat down in my chair and my hands were shaking and I couldnt stop smiling and laughing.
I had been wearing glasses for about 5 or 6 years and wanted them off. My eyesight was really bad though.
I want even thinking about it and Matt (Melody Benders brother) put his hands on my eyes and at first nothing happened...But the second time he prayed for me my eyes were completely HEALED!
It was definitely one of the most amazing things that has ever happened to me.
Ever since then my hands have been on fire, I have gold dust on my hands almost all the time now, I have been seeing tons of people get healed, and now I'm going to start writing about it.

MATTS FOOT:
He had hurt one of his toes and it was effecting his whole foot.
I got to pray for him and he said that it was completely better.

SHANES FOOT:
I got to pray for Shane's left foot on Friday night. He said that he had hurt it a few years ago and it was still giving him pain sometimes.
He asked me to pray for it.........HEALED!

MONDAY AUGUST 25TH:

Today was the launch of the Austin Kingdom Academy.
http://www.beenup2.com/photos/286954-kingdom-academy-begins

GUYS ARM HEALED:
Me and two other people prayed for a guys arm today at AKA.
I had gold dust and my hands were tingling like CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!
While I was praying he said "Its healed, It's completely healed!" And he started stretching and swinging his arms around.
I was standing behind him, and he turned around and smiled really big.
That was cool!

LADYS BACK HEALED:
She had just had back surgery and was still having pain and she bent completely over and touched her toes without any pain.

DAIMOND:
We were watching a video of Bill Johnson at AKA. He was talking about daimonds and feathers just appearing out of nowhere.
And a perfect daimond with gold on the back appeared in a chair next to one lady.
Melody took some pictures of it.

AUGUST 31st 2008:

Lance was preaching yesterday. He told everybody to raise their hands in they had back problems, or back pain.
I prayed for 2 people with their hands raised and both of their backs got healed.

Jake hurt his knee yesterday before practice.
He was having trouble walking on it.
John had us pray for it and it got better.
------------------------------------------------------

NOVEMBER 14TH:
(BURNING ONES WEEKEND)

Burning Ones was an amazing life changing unforgettable weekend.
Chris Quilala lead worship for Burning Ones and Banning Leibscher spoke.
That night the winds blew very strong and it got extremely cold outside.
I had been in the prayer room with the worship team and the Revivalist Academy before service and God really showed up telling us what to expect for that night. We realized that God definitely had bigger plans for that weekend than we did.
I was on ministry teams that night with Tyler and Briggs.
After service we went up front and waited for people to come to us for prayer.
The first lady that came to us said that she was having trouble with something in her teeth. She said that it was painful and that she was having trouble swallowing without pain.
After praying for her she said that it immediately felt better.

The second kid who came to us had either broken or hurt his left wrist pretty bad. He could not put any pressure on it without pain. When we were done praying he said that it felt completely better. To test it out he started doing pushups on the floor and had no pain at all!
I talked to him the next day and he said that he was really surprised and he had no pain. His wrist was completely healed!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Wednesday night before last we had a guy that  came with a broken neck. We prayed for him and his broken neck, that the doctors said would take over two years to heal was healed instantly! =D

Well those are just some of the cool stuff I have seen. Thanks for reading! Blessings! =]
